That's not how I remember the beginning of FFVII.) and making the music sound more like the original (What's with the battle music? Where's the fast-paced action feel to it?) Also, it looks like those enemies take forever to kill(originally you started at lv 7).

This is a ROM hack. The music resembles FF3 for SNES. FF7 was originally going to be on the SNES but there was a dispute between Nintendo and Sony over copyright issues. So Sony walked and created their own entertainment franchise, Sony Computer Entertainment America/Europe.
