very conveinient ang road,pagpasok mo ng NEX pag exit mo is subic already, nakakatakot lang one time,,kasi merong bushfire,,kaya be cautious lang,,also, last december there was a big accident dahil sa brushfire,,5 cars were involved in that accident,,and lives were taken,,meron pa rin nag oover speeding,,sana magkaroon ng INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Sa SUBIC,,,

Magaling ka pa sa Engineer na nagdecide na tipakin ang bundok. But you should see it yourself...its along the Porac portion of the SCTex. For me this modern expressway is the best thing that happened in the Philippines. Imagined the convenience of travelling. Travel time is almost cut half beyond of the usual time it takes. As for the tinipak portion, it just proper na tinipak nila at di ginawang tunnel kc self-explanatory naman why hindi pwede yung tunnel.

just be careful after san miquel & dinalupihan exits as the police are quite often setting up radar and catching ppl speeding, handing out tickets at the last exits, tipo & la paz exits. They need money to fix the bad road, already major repairs and it's only 1 1/2 yrs old!

yestrerday my family and i visited a friend in sta cruz tarlac , it took us about 1 hour from mexico nlex mexico tollgate to end of sctex, great difference compare before via mcarthur highway...9pm na nandoon pa kami sa tarlac pag balik mas less ang travel time kasi conti lang sasakyan pag pasok sa sctex.....parang uae ang kalsada....

this expressway saves me time. i used this way when i went to manila coming from nueva vizcaya. before entering cabanatuan... use the way going yo aliaga.. then b4 reaching aliaga, turn left going to zaragoza.. then upon reaching the end turn left going to la paz just look nalang for the sctex entry. the trip is so short. from maharlika highway after talavara town in NE, the trip is only around 30-40 minutes. bulacan is history. goodbye bulacan.. goodbye traffic.

I remember taking the free Navy bus to AC and the local bus back to Olangopo. The bus driver drove with one hand on the horn and both feet on the pedals!

In 1984, I took that military bus from Clark to Subic to get my car, then drove back to Angeles. Made that run many times. This is SOOOO much better.
