  • Marcos did not want Ninoy to be killed, he planned Ninoy to be his successor because he's the only one who he can trust to handle the Philippines at that time.

  • @runeguy221akaredguy2 nonesense. your statement has no basis. rather marcos was afraid of ninoy. marcos knew that ninoy could lead the opposition and mount a strong enough opposition to oust him of power he strongly covets, of fortune, fame and adulation his wife imelda covets.

  • i agree marcos choose ninoy as his succesor but maraming pwersa ang gustong mamuno sa bansa at isa dun ang nagpapatay kay ninoy. isa sa mga gunman ay nagsalita na. sana lumabas na ang katutuhanan para makaabante na ang bansa..

  • dangerous political opponent? yet very close upsilonian brethren. why did media silenced this fact?

  • gling mo pri GO NINOY GO NINOY!!!!

  • FACT: Marcos was planning for Ninoy to be his successor, The regime wanted him dead, marcos didn't

that's why he sent aquino to boston.. To hide..

  • Imelda Marcos said that her husband was smart, too smart that he doesn't need to kill anybody.

I would say, Ferdinand Marcos was smart alright, too smart that he and his cronies managed to set an ironic situation where no one gets a clear shot of what happened. That or he's too dumb to notice that it could've been Imelda who made the call.

  • the military were on power on that time so they can do whatever and whenever they wanted to do to those who oppose them, and they were also cronies of the marcos regime.

  • paano nangyari yun?

  • It's the dumbest alibi that galman shot ninoy... that shot destroyed the country... people got enraged....the effects is felt till now... we could have been number one in asia by this time..: > )

    kilala nila ung gunman?

  • LOL look at the police at 5:36 until 5:42

  • Imelda was the one who ordered the execution of Ninoy without Marcos knowledge nor consent why? i can give tons of facts/ reasons

1.F.Marcos would never order such in which he would be the guilty. will result that people will revolt

    2.F.Marcos admire intelligent people.

3.F.Marcos knows he is sick and ninoy is the best replacement for him is ninoy but imelda doesn't share same views.

  • planado..hinde hinayaan na makunan na kamera ung malapt sa hagdan..

  • Ninoy's death was already justified.

  • - tht doesnt even makes any sense to me ... 5:15 - 5:36 ... because the people in the car came out and looks liik theyre just acting .. and so as the his escorts ... so tht means its perfectly planned .. ???

  • Fuck you Marcos

  • anu ba ibig sabihin ng martial law ?? anung nangyayari pag martial law

  • The AVESCOM guards looked retarded & overreacting when Aquino was shot in the reenactment.

  • Is it possible that the Filipino people we're played like pawns on a chess board during this time? There were theories that Marcos had to be liquidated by the global elite due to his overwhelming power, that he knows too much as they supported him before. In order to initiate such overthrow, assassination had to be planned with the Marcos and his staff. Ninoy was killed. It caused such anger and burst of spirit in Edsa 1986. Then they left Marcos on his own & provided no support. just my 2 cents

  • No doubt Marcos knew the mastermind of Ninoy's killer. The key that Marcos or his wife did it is "Modulo 7." Geniuses like Alexander the Great, Napoleon Bonaparte, Hitler and Marcos are obsessed with a combinations signs, mystics and oracles. Marcos courted the communists, the oppositions and of course pampered the military and police that he could easily make combinations and permutations of various scenarios to temper the harsh verdict of history. In this he was successful.

  • On 4:55 i think i just saw it on GMA 7

back in the 80's. When i seat down near

to the television. I never know is so very

scary to watch this when i am watching

Ana liza before the news when they

have a special report about this

  • think of it.. if the guards were really there to protect ninoy, why would they let the perpetrator take a shot at ninoy? and that guy galman was a fall guy, because he was the head of security or whatever that is, he could have just ordered one of his men to take kill ninoy right? and it's kinda disappointing.. beacause one of the greatest person in the planet died and didn't have justice.. the same thing that he wanted to give us..

  • i don't know what to say.. it's as if they really were planning it for a long time.. i mean there was no video taken, and if u could take a look at the time when ninoy was about to come out of the plane the camera man was not able to record ninoy as he went down the stairs it's as is someone was blocking his way.. its just my opinion don't get mad at me guys..

  • @MuFreak07

The military was planning the assassination ever since Ninoy insisted on coming home despite the threats to his life. All Ninoy ever wanted was to have an audience with Marcos...which the top military brass & those in the corridors of power didn't want to happen primarily because of a potential power struggle against Ninoy.

Yes, those people blocking the camera were among the security escorts of Ninoy who obviously didn't want them to see what they're going to do.

    Shame on them!

  • @BenignoAquinoJr it's kinda obvious na kasi.. and they still insist that marcos had nothing to do with ninoy's death.. and they keep on manufacturing evidence.. omg that's why sometimes i don't trust our system.. marcos is afraid that if ninoy comes out of that plane alive, he'll lose everything that's why he got rid of him. i don't know why they had to do it..

  • @MuFreak07

Ang hirap sa ilan, mahilig mag-speculate ng kung anu-anong scenarios; yet the most obvious - that the military was behind the killing - is being overlooked! They say "Marcos was smart that he won't do such a thing" is rubbish! Marcos knew that if he dies before NINOY, the latter would gain the upper hand & the opposition would trample the KBL coalition & their cronies!

The Agrava Commission found Gen. Ver as the mastermind. But Marcos ordered the Sandiganbayan to acquit him. WHY?!

  • @BenignoAquinoJr we all know what happened.. we don't have to speculate na eh kasi alam naman natin kung ano ung totoo..

marcos was smart that's why he had to get rid of ninoy.. ung malaking kalaban nya dba? pero ginagawa lang nilang tanga ang mga pilipino.. gumagawa sila ng mga kwento.. and ni-minsan hndi nila inimbestigahan si marcos.. ano kaya un?

the ordered the sandiganbayan to acquit him kasi he was on the run..

  • Pilipinos nowadays don't know how much our economy boom before martial law. They say "mas mabuti pa nung panahon ni marcos maganda buhay natin". Only if they know how much marcos have fucked up this country. tsk tsk.

Marcos = Greedy for Power And Money, May you burn in hell Bitch!!!!

  • @ungas024 i totally agree with you..martial law was the darkest moment in the history of the philippines..

and imelda had the guts to say that martial law was a very peaceful blah blah..

ISADIWA NATIN ANG TUNAY NA KAHULUGAN NG PEOPLE POWER. :-)

  • Very thinkable I saw this on TV that's why I am watching this and is Nice but, who really killed Ninoy? His Escorts or Rolando Galman?

  • @Utterly911 That has been the top question of the Filipino for the last 27 years.

  • ballsys my grandma!

  • @theasiankid02 But Ballsy doesn't have any grandchildren at all. :-)

  • @pilipinasmabuhay100 well, my grandma's cousin is Cory Aquino, so won't that make her my grandma?

    :)

  • Ninoy lived for the nation's pride... everyone expected for his arrival but he was shot that angered the Filipino

  • really? heheh. my eyes might be fooling me. by the way, i'm probably the only ilocano who doesn't like marcos at all. =)

  • i don't think that's ballsy. i think that's pinky.

  • @iamilocano This is Ballsy being interviewed. Trust me. ;-)

  • @BenignoAquinoJr Tama si Ballsy nga yun. Siya yung pinaka kamukha ni Cory sa mga magkakapatid eh.

  • damn! the assassin who killed benigno aquino, very professional, head shot on the spot.

  • Only a fool will believe Marcos' government's allegation about Galman killing Ninoy. How the hell did he pass through more than a thousand military soldiers gathered around the airport in the first place? Unless of course someonle let him through.

  • @nocber i think marcos hired the best assassin to kill benigno aquino, and to what i think the assassin is not from the philippines, probably from another country, and plus the kill is very professional.

  • Thanks to our one of our kababayan from Singapore to make this show possible, Mr. Ver Soriano an OFW in Singapore and a History Channel subscriber write to the channel to include the Aquino assasination in their 'Infamous assasination' series last March. Upon receiving a positive response from the History Channel , the show was aired last May 02.

  • @copethunder1 Thank goodness he made the suggestion. Now I want to know if this documentary will eventually be released on DVD? I sure hope so.

  • Thanks very much. I'm spreading the word.

  • Thank you very much for the upload. This is really a public service for posterity; not everyone was able to watch this when it aired on the History Channel. Kudos and thank you!

  • @drgrace02 The pleasure is ours kabayan. Thank you for the appreciation! ;-)

  • ninoy is my hero! the filipino is worth is dying for!

  • nakakalungkot talaga pag napapanood natin ito,.kung anong kalakaran meron ang ating bansa noon

  • @Hoshey I recorded this show on my laptop when I watched it via live-stream. The raw file is more than 2.5GB in size! Too large to upload on any hosting sites that I know. I suggest you simply download this YouTube video (and the other parts) by utilizing websites that specializes in doing just that (such as keepvid(.)com or javimoya(.)com. If these sites won't work, there are tons of other video grabbing sites that can be found on Google or Yahoo. =)

I sure hope they'll release this on DVD!

  • @Hoshey Always a pleasure! I'm glad to be of help! ;-)

  • I think it was anti-Marcos people that were involved in this killing because it obviously galvanized forces against him. I have no facts to back this up i just look at who benefited from the murder. This was the beginning of the end of the Marcos regime and it makes no sense that Marcos would want to make a martyr of Aquino.

  • @shire2005 It's already been established that it was a military conspiracy. Someone from the higher echelon in the corridors of power wanted Ninoy dead because he would be a threat to someone who wanted the presidency so bad in the event that the ailing dictator died.

Makoy was gravely ill when Ninoy came home. For sure, someone from his own camp wanted him dead so that he/she would have no one to go against...no opposition as a challenger, no problem!

The rest, as they say, is history!

  • @shire2005 You're right to consider who benefited the most from Ninoy's death. But you also have to take into account the facts/evidence. Look at the truth, the whole truth.

  • Oh yes I always watch history . Finally this documentary is in History watch all around the world. YES!! and why isnt this HD well im not complaining or anything but is really special for us.

  • The Agrava Fact-Finding Board overlooked the presence of PSC Sgt. Ben Casta, the man in polo barong waiting for Ninoy and his military escorts, who might be the real assassin.

  • Buhayin natin muli ang diwa ng ating BAYAN!

    ITULOY NATIN ANG LABAN!

  • 2:41 That would contradict the scene from "A Dangerous Life", which depicted that Cory received the call.

  • @emir0721 Of course, Ballsy's recollection is accurate compared to the movie. As a plot device to the movie, the director probably decided it's better that Cory herself received the bad news first than her children...which would've been more dramatic.

  • @BenignoAquinoJr I think that may have been the case. Also, I would like to point out that Dr. Racquel Fortun, who is later seen in this documentary, is my aunt. She's a daughter of my grandmother's sister.

  • @emir0721 Wow, that's good to know that you're related to Dr. Fortun! You must be proud that your aunt has been featured.

  • Nice, very nice! Very informative documentary indeed. Glad that History Channel offered a lot more info about this unforgettable event!

  • thank you for sharing the video! makes me sad again upon seeing the assassination video :( pero alam kong itutuloy ni Sen. NOYNOY ang LABAN NA TAPAT!
