  • @123DROCK No. EB's era is before that. Besides, in reality the roman soldiers hardly wear that fancy armour. Its too uncomfortable. The chain mail is more prevalent.

  • this mod is fantastic, perfect in every detail excet one: the language

  • @Britannus15 why is the language a problem?

  • Finally I'm going to be able to play as a leader of my ancestors: the Lusitanians!

    Can't wait to try it!

  • I'm an RTR fanboy but EB gives me the chills.

Indeed, most accurate mod, congrats for all of your work.

  • I still prefer RTR over EB :)

  • best mod ever for Rome TW. If it wasn't for the long loading times i would say best total war experience ever

  • One has to suffer a little to achieve perfection, no? ;)

EB just pushed R:TW's enginge to the max. It's a shame that things like AI are hardcoded in R:TW.

  • What's the difference between EB and EB II?

  • EB is for Rome Total War

EBII is for Medieval 2 Total War

  • Do you know when EB 2 will be finished ?

  • only the dev team does... i'd say it still takes few years. but i think its worth the wait and effort.

  • @hooahguy14 How close is EBII to being finished?

  • @xylaphonemaster

    when it's done.

  • the mod is great

very nice details and the historical accuracy is amazing

the only problem is that it loads pretty slow

  • you got that right.

  • needs more lancers...those things are seriously awesome-looking, especially to new players who haven't seen the two-handed lance animation.

  • i just started playing and its great. lucky for me out of the many mods i have tried, EB actually works! Plus its easy to set up.

Is Rome only represnted in its earlier for here? I mean the soldiers dont wear the red outfits they are famopus for. do they come later in the game? Silly question? thnaks

  • yes, and no. its historically accurate... and the romani didnt always wear red... just in hollywood movies.

just enjoy the mod and you learn a lot from it..

  • thanks for the reply. youre right, I sure am learning a lot, and having lots of fun too. Great mod - I have no desire to look for any further mods. Well, except EBII! Any idea on where they are at with EBII?

  • I really want this mod !!!!

ancient greek history is my favorite.

once I down load the file, were do I install it? which folder do I put it in ?

  • it comes in an installation file, so it installs correctly to the correct folder.

  • @willypete2171 Also, rather than the ordinary 1 Roman reform, there are now 3: Polybian, Marian and Imperial

  • Can you still play the imperial campaign with this mod?

  • Ok i asked a question before i watched the vid stupid me XD
