  • Oh dear. I'll totally believe this story when you get the Salvation Army guy on here.

  • Great story and video!

  • "..., we're in radio, we have no cognitive skills" - ROFLMBO! Epic comment of the century!

  • @ImTheDaveman And, sadly, it's true. lol

  • :] Very cool collab video, Bill! What a terribly unfortunate and yet very funny story! That poor, poor man and his bucket...

  • Wow, that was a great story! And it reminded me of a friend who in the late 1990's WAS restoring a Gremlin!!!! Yeah I know, it boggles the mind!

  • @ve2vfd It's like that show on the Discovery channel when a man in Boston boards a plane at the same time a man in California planes a board!

  • I don't know whether to laugh or cry for the guy on the back of that truck. lol

    Another great radio vid Bill.

Btw - your friends are hilarious too!

  • @Dingotech2000 Personally, if I was with the Salvation Army and I was told I was going to be in a parade that "gig" would have ended the moment anyone had the nerve to suggest "We'll just have to strap you to the back of this truck."

  • @billtvmacon - lol ya but it has to be better than the guy walking behind the horses with a bucket and a shovel. :-)

  • I always love your radio stories. Happy Christmas Bill! :)

  • @GSProductionsMedia Same to you! Thanks!

  • Whatever you do, don't put gremlins in the microwave. By the way, thanks for the tweet!!! :)

  • @SmithVlogs That was an awesome movie.

  • I enjoyed helping Bill tell the story of the Gremlin. The comments are great! The poster who said I look like his Grandpa made me laugh. At least I don't yet look like someone's Grandma! I had hair when we drove the Gremlin in reverse. I think I lost it all that afternoon.

  • @pedrock1952 I forgot, Pete. You DO have a channel. @jackhammerfilms this is the channel of the guy who looks like your friends grandpa. And, @chrismaster1...I stand corrected.

  • I wish someone had been filming that parade! sounded awesome.

  • @thekeyring I agree. But movies and pictures weren't nearly as common as they are now. You actually had some privacy in the late 70's. lol

  • That is a FANTASTIC story. Thank you for sharing. :)

  • @TheSchwartzcaster Thank you. The truth is always more entertaining. It was nice to have two friends backing me up on this.

  • Leave it to Bill to stop the parade! Wocka wocka wocka.

  • @TheWoodcreekFaction ...a tradition I still continue today.

  • The News Gremlin --- SOUNDS EPIC!!

  • @GenericTechGuy It was also the same car we'd use to do Boogie Patrol at the Big X. That's when we'd go to local pools and hand out Mountain Dew drinks and T-shirts, give away music. So when the Gremlin arrived the people didn't know it they'd get a prize or if there had been a crime. LOL

  • @billtvmacon Hahaha!! That's awesome!

The undercover good cop/bad cop Gremlin! Never know which one you are getting!

  • Great video as alway, Bill. Enjoyed it a lot.

Have a great Christmas & New Year.

Thanks for entertaining us all so well this year.

    Best wishes - Dave Williams

  • @MrNeelix2009 Dave, thank you for all you've done for me this year. I'm keeping folks informed about your radio shows on BillTvMacon2

  • I laughed so hard when I read the shoutouts at the end. Well, I guess shouting out the Salvation Army is the least you can do after that story :-)

  • @Nightyyou Yes, I agree. I love that they all have YouTube channels. We're sooo mainstream now.

  • Yet another great and very funny radio story. Thanks Bill.

  • lol That is a GREAT story Bill! Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays Sir!

    @FiremanRich : )

  • That was fun; thanks Bill!

  • Does Pete have a YouTube?

  • @chrismaster1 I don't think so.

  • @chrismaster1

I do but I only have complex mathematical computations and detailed explanations of U-S tax code on there.

  • Great video as always Bill! xD Have a Great xmas! xD

  • @ForeverJakeC Thanks, man! You too.

  • Great the way you used the third stream to convey your feelings about the Gremlin. :D The whole backwards thing was a neat gimmick though. Until you hit the truck in front (back?) of you, that is. lol

  • Hilarious. It's time to write your life story and then make it into a movie. Who should play you in your story?

  • @johnetie My life as a movie. I don't know. I can't even keep subs on the channel. I don't know why anyone would want to see my life. lol

  • The guitar guy & his ballad reminded me of my dad's favourite artist, Ray Stevens (back in the day, before he got exclusively-political)

    u radio guys WERE crazy!!!

the 3 most craziest cars in Ahmerca, in my opinion were : the Gremlin, Isetta, & Delorean. They all had their fanbase, but for varying reasons, none were exactly.. top-of-the-line

  • @Shaggy72 I had Ray Stevens on the radio show once. Funny guy and a keen business man.

  • Well worth the wait Bill. This was great!

  • that guy looks sooooo much like a my friends grandpa!!!

  • @jackhammerfilms That's amazing isn't it? How someone else across the world can look like someone you know. I feel sorry for that poor guy half way around the world that looks like me. lol

  • @billtvmacon haha it is! but i don't mean you i mean the guy in the blue t-shirt! without the hair :D

  • @jackhammerfilms If heredity means anything I'll be bald eventually. Maybe I'll get a couple of strands like Homer Simpson.

  • What a brilliant story, especially the guest appearances :)

  • This story was brilliant, the two radio guys really added a lot, and it kept me laughing throughout, great video Bill =]

  • @TheL1ttleGuy Thanks! I'll be sure to tell them.

  • this was amazing Bill! loved the inclusion of the other two. the song was pretty cool too! hehe. You never fail to impress me!!! <3

  • It took me a long while to realise that The Gremlin was a car. You can understand my confusion.

I hope to see that song released on iTunes, with the proceeds going to The Salvation Army.

Great story and some good u̶n̶ suspecting co-hosts.

  • @OnlyWorksBackwards Ah! I probably should have done better at that. I had a picture of the car next to me when I mentioned it. Yup. Can't take your eyes off the screen for one minute. LOL Thanks, Lewis. Yeah, thje three of us have walked many a mile in walk-a-thons.

  • At least the Salvos got a bigger donation, and the parade got a rare treat. Great story, Thanks!!

  • Fantastic!!! You guys are hilarious xD !

  • @stufish4040 Thanks, Stu!

  • The Gremlin (and it's cousin the "Pacer") demonstrated everything that was wrong with the American car industry in the 1970's. Driving a Gremlin backwards in a parade demonstrated everything that was right with the radio industry in the 1970's!

This is a great story Bill, thanks for sharing!

  • @realspacemodels Thank you. I agree about your comments on the cars. The Pacer. LOL

  • Let me just grab my BillTVMacon christmas shirt.

  • @TheGearsKeepTurning I think you're the only person on earth that has a Christmas one.

  • @billtvmacon

Really? I love it :). Since I lost all the weight I need to buy a smaller BillTV shirt. Might get the christmas one taken in a bit, too.

  • I just so love your vlogs!

    and your buddies are awesome!!

  • @SiddharthsVlogs Thanks, Sid!
