The meter is unlock-able, as far as him skidding, he simply has control of the car and has the right set up.

You cant really hack a card. You can get the namco tachometer from transfering your card from MT2 to MT3. And you need to be done with the chapters in MT2. He doesnt skid a lot because he has control on the car. Sometimes its not the car, but it's the driver. Im sure he had lots of practice runs before this one to make everything perfect.

it's awesome how he gets a 255-256 exit speed after the 3consecutive turns after cp1. my best there is only 252-254. but for some reason, been having a hard time there recently. i keep getting 245-249 instead. don't know what happened to me. hopefuly this vid will help me get the speed back
