  • all that trouble for one fish...sorry one part of the fish

  • @tr2am to answer your question it's to preserve the freshness of the taste of the fish. A fish that's been dead for hours would have a different texture and a slightly different taste after the onset of rigermortes however u spell it. And also to that racist closeminde inbreed your an idiot. Closed minded people should have closed mouth.

  • what difference would it have made to kill the fish few minutes earlier and not make it go throught hell for some more minutes?:S

  • lol gross

  • I FUCKK CHINESE AND JAPENESE !!! I REALLY REALLY FUCK YOU !! YOU COULDN'T EXIST ON THE EARTH !!!! (NO RESPECT FOR THE NATURE)

  • @Opinel9876543210 Ignorant fool

  • Ooh,stunning the fish first before being prepared?Nice.Yeah,I know how you guys felt, and I too, felt sorry for the poor fish, but that's the only way to eat it without getting poisoned,so yeah.

BTW,that stun attack was real loud XP

  • Wow. I strangely feel sorry for the fish - cut off its nose, fins and eyes while its still alive? Just kill the fucking thing and then start carving it up.

  • @tywin1 Killing it before preparation would ensure death upon consumption.

  • this is brutal shit

  • still alive? :( :( :(

  • thats bullshit about taking an hour a fish, i've been to Fugu restaurants and they''d never serve every customer if it took that long.

  • This dish is a fucking waste in every sense of the word.

  • "So the first thing he does is stun it"

*Bows and smacks it on the head* xD

  • Bet 25 people eat the poison part of the fish.

  • I cringed when I saw that the fish was still alive, incredible!

  • alive... or juz a myogenic reaction?.... i'd say.. myogenic.. ;p

  • man it looks yummy!... i was stunned that it was still alive when it was completely dismembered.

  • awesome. Chefs like this make me want some fugu

  • I like the fact that this chef takes an hour on one fish...take your time and get it right...please!!

  • Why would you become a fugu chef ???

  • Lawlawlawlawlawlawlawlalwwoaalqoalqol

  • Oh no the vortex is opening! SWIM AWAY FUGU FISH SWIM AWAY!

  • Oh no, here comes a poisonous school of fugu fish

    Nooooo! Fugu!

  • Why the fuck would you eat that

  • because it's dangerous.

  • @joemoe01 adventure

  • @joemoe01 Because it's delicious

  • @joemoe01 u can say that for a lot of things...

  • Note to self: experimenting with exotic food in other countries could kill you

  • 60 liters of water for 1 fish??? Better not to eat this shit and save water -.-

  • damn

  • I wonder what it tastes like.

  • @Th33k I've heard it has a slight mouth numbing effect, something the eaters find pleasantly on the edge of life and death.

  • @RatkoUSA Oh, strange, I want to taste it someday. Although I should find someone as skilled as this chef to prepare it. xD

  • @RatkoUSA fugu flesh is still toxic but not lethally so it gives you numbing effect, you should stay away from eyes , skin, liver, ovaries and all internal organs.

  • In Australia they call these fish Toadies or Puffer Fish...... similar - depending upon what part they are caught in.... but plenty of people have caught them and eaten them and died.

  • The poisonous parts are given to mcdonalds to make minced meat for hamburgers.

  • aawww poor little fishy :O

  • dude - what's wrong with salmon?

  • Inefficient resource of food.

  • @etniko But probably delicious.

  • 0:17 :)

  • this man has skills 99.999% of ppl don't have

  • I was kind of hoping he would cut himself.

  • That fish's heart was still beating :O

  • LOL thats how you stun the fish?!

  • why cant they just kill it first?!

  • @TeenForces It's released upon death i believe

  • Damn, that looks really, really delicious. Fucking expensive though!

  • whats wrong with you people all the meat you eat is inhumanly killed just by the fact that it's being mass produce for the sole purpose of being eaten when it reaches a stage it's inhuman. But point is doesn't matter much in the end, just because you say or even see the process you still eat the fish, chicken, cow, etc. just shut up about it and also you are a human an omnivore you eat meat and plants if you where on some plain you still kill the animal to eat with no mercy.

  • this is pretty fucking barbaric. just dont eat the fucking thing if you need to do this to it. fucking cunts.

  • Man...How the fuck can you do that to a living fish? I wish they did that on humans so at least they can sense what pain is.

  • I was eating lunch at the time and thought 'oh hes just going to fillet the fish'... lets just say watching this made lunch somewhat... less appetizing.

  • how much that plate cost?

  • @puntofamily up to $200.

  • I hope you burn in hell damn cruel mother FUCKER

  • @w12martin You're an idiot. Have you seen how they kill the cow for your steak on the table? Dumbasses like you make this great nation look like a bunch of fools.

  • @w12martin i bet you eat lobster that was prepared by BOILING ALIVE. shut up and think for one second.

  • I am no "animal rights" fundie - you should see the kinds of things I say about people like PETA - but doing all this to the fish while it is still alive makes me somewhat uneasy. Yes, it is stunned. Yes, it is a nonsentient being and thus its suffering pales to that which would be experienced by a human or a dolphin in that situation. But it still does experience that surely-excruciating pain.

Coupling that with the inherent risk to this food, I would recommend ceasing the practice altogether.

  • @1RadicalOne Have you seen how our cows are killed in the states? Also, look at how chicken is killed in the US for KFC.

  • KFC I know of, and for that reason I have criticized them in the past, but as for cattle, it is, if my memory serves me, usually done with decapitation, a bullet, or poison gas, usually CO2.

The former, as bad as it may sound, is actually one of the best ways to die; so quick as to be painless, if done right.

The second, similar, though with higher risk of non-painless killing.

Third, depending on the gas, can be painless, but at least is always rather fast.

  • @1RadicalOne Actually, you claim that "the former, (referring to the cruel methods of KFC) as bad as it may sound, is actually one of the best ways to die." Are you kidding me? So hanging you upside down, then getting your throat slit, than being dunked in boiling water, then getting your feathers plucked off, and then you intestines emptied out is not "a bad way to die?" You must be one sick fuck then.

  • No, that is NOT what I said. I listed three common procedures. I then explain them in order. It is starting to look like you are desperate for something to claw at.

  • @1RadicalOne You a beaner? Either learn how to speak english for get the fuck out of my country. "I then explain them in order." Are you shitting me? Read that sentence again and tell me how that constitutes a coherent sentence. Also, you haven't refuted my argument about the cruelty of the industrialized method of killing chicken.

  • You are rapidly losing credibility, resorting to little more than insults and relying on your own inability to comprehend a simple sentence. Let me put this a little more simply, so that you, just maybe, will understand.

I was not talking about the chicken. I was talking about the cows. I said that. TWICE.

If you really need me to explicitly tell you these things, that an indirect yet obvious statement is incomprehensible, then maybe I am wasting my time.

  • @1RadicalOne KFC Look at your comment faggot. "I know of, and for that reason I have criticized them in the past, but as for cattle, it is, if my memory serves me, usually done with decapitation, a bullet, or poison gas, usually CO2.

The former, as bad as it may sound, is actually one of the best ways to die; so quick as to be painless, if done right."

Do you know what "the former" means when you list two methods? It means the first you listed. Therefore the KFC killings.

  • Christ...

For one, I listed three. Decapitation, a gun, and gassing. One, two, three. Still following me?

And I advise for your sake to not try to make offensive remarks like in your opening statement; they do little to help your credibility.

  • @llamaslyr Look how flustered you get, you're like a hormonal teenager acting out over the littlest provocations...except you're getting AARP notices in the mail.

  • @LambChowder1 Sorry, what were we talking about? Seems like you weren't in the conversation to start with. Who the fuck butts into a 3 week old conversation? lol I think we all have better things to do. Sorry Lambchowder, it seems like you're one of those kids that gets a kiss from their mother at night right after she gave your father a blowjob. Why don't you take your comment that I obviously don't give a flaming fuck about, and shove it up your penguin's pussy. Good girl.

  • pretty damn cruel I want to stun that fool and cut his eyes out and see how he likes it
