For a video shot in '85, this looks pretty darn good, today. Take out the clothes, and hair, and it looks almost modern... I had never seen this video until recently..the "performance video" from "Streets of Fire" was the only one I knew about.
I have one question: How did Dan (God Rest him) get AIDS to begin with? I'm sure he never used drugs; I didn't think he was gay, either. Thanks for clearing this up, if you can!

Love Love Love this song. The first time I've heard this was on Streets of Fire...I was suprised to see that this is the guy singing, but a lot of English singers have "soulful" voices. Although many has covered this song, the original is best and it is definitely a song I transferred from my cd to my ipod.

This should be have been a number 1 hit for Dan Hartman. It's catchy and beautiful the way the melody sounds and the way the lyrics sound. Plus Joyce Hyser is in the video.
