I thought that the media in America was bad, but I think that Great Britain is much worse. The media there is lower than scum and they really cross the line when they have to put a note in a child's backpack to get to J.K. Rowling. I understand the want and need for some people to want to have the kind of lives that celebrities, but if they want it, then they need to work for it, or find some why to get it than to stoop to this level.

Oh Boo Hoo. I generate more money than the queen, most people like my books, globally. And some journalist put a letter in my daughters bag addressed to me. Not a bomb, a bit of paper with writing on it =[. I mean sure there are people living in poverty and war zones. But someone put some paper in my daughters bag on her way back to the mansion.

Jo knows about poverty, she lived in extreme poverty while writing the early drafts of the Harry Potter books. This wasn't just someone putting a piece of paper in her daughters bag, this is journalists targeting her daughter, making it so that school is no longer a safe place for her.

@Miakosamuio Maybe you should do your research before you tell somebody else too. Look up 'extreme poverty'. Rowling never came close. Plus my point wasn't about the past, but the present. She is a multi billionaire. who can afford private tutoring and home schooling for millions of African children for a few years. She chose to be in the limelight, and is moaning about her daughters safety, because someone put a letter in her bag. Get a grip, not even Vernon cared about the letter this much.

Are you insane? she doesnt actually know who put that note in her bag, she's MOTHER who's found that some complete stranger knows where to find her child, it has nothing to do with her being famous and rich, someone she doesnt know, found a way to access her child, any parent rich or poor, famous or not would find that terrifying and its quite disturbing that you have so little concern for childrens safety.
