  • greatest ever film ending

  • ive seen better klimaxes in a porno..

  • The best final scene ever!!!

  • Han shot first.

  • Scary movie ending lol

  • Hints that Verval was Kaiser.

    1) Very first scene where Keaton is shot. First he confused, then he realises and then he speaks to someone he clearly knows but just figured out 2) Verbal shot the guy in the car from distance with Keaton in the way, not bad for someone that can't even light a cig. 3) Verbal knew they were speaking Hungarian on the boat. 4) "gets this close (pointing to himself) to getting caught". Loads more subtle hints in what and how Verbal says or does things.

  • @imthebottomline don't forget you saw everyone in the line up get picked up by the cops except verbal.

  • I cant understand how so many people don't understand this movie. The whole interrogation ,through twists and turns, explains what led to the very first scene where Keaton gets shot, this and Verbal'Sose getting into the car with 'kobayashi' at the end makes everything clear. Verbal wanted to reveal as little as possible, but Kuyan would find things out. The lies were in the names that verbal mentioned. Verbal was the criminal mastermind known as Kaiser Souse

  • Overrated "twist" ending.

  • 3:02 - 3:04 Epic cringe.

  • The best thing about the lie would be that he got the name "Kobyashi" from the officer's bloody MUG!!

  • @soccerguy325. lol, look on IMDB, you must be the only sad cunt that found something not to like, either that or, more likely, you aint ready for this shit sheila

  • For the many that dont understand: this entire masterpiece of a film is dedicated to the petty Argentine rat ARTURO MARQUEZ.

and therein dictates what to believe and what to ignore.

  • Greatest ending to a movie ever!

  • Kevin is MAGNIFICENT!

  • @genia106

    agree QUEEN, soooo cool,OLALALALAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

  • Genius ending. Was a 'jaw on the floor' moment! To think he made all that up on the fly like that is pretty impressive!

  • so the RM 60 quote basicly like this : "The Greatest trick that Gary ever pulled was to convince the member that he was really fooled" - TruGaryShow- haha!

  • my question is how verbal got caught?if he pulled off all this operation it would be quite difficult to catch him near the ship...he had thought of everything...unless he was just messing with the police...also,keiser is probably another alias of verbal because they they say they've got a file on him and he's a legend...also the hungarian guy in the hospital calls him like that...but the whole thing with his family,i don't believe it's true...

  • @amagginas remember they were on the ship for a while, so take when they started shooting and then wait about 5-10 minutes, because if someone were to call the cops, they'd be there in that time. so Keyser/Verbal had to hide and then tell the story through Verbals persona. although he didn't want to as he got himself that high lawyer to be untouchable, but remember the cop was very forceful to get a chat with Verbal. therefore he had to continue acting and wait for his time to get away

  • so i dont get what the point of it all was?

  • Lol scary movie ending

  • I was watching this online and the this exact bit was cut out!!! The best bit of the whole film, luckily it is on youtube. :P

  • running man!!! gary is a true spy!

  • It really was a excellent movie, with wonderful acting, but....but why the hell did the villain get to escape at the end?!?!

  • @soccerguy325 because he's a genius you sbsolute numpty... how he escapes is the whole point of the movie. stick to Disney retarded kid

  • @crusminions The movie sucked, grampa, stick to watching your boring movies, I could barely sit THROUGH the whole thing it sucked to much!

  • thumbs up if u are here because of running man!

  • @puterk90 so,what's the meaning of it??i still dont understand..

  • @sarang0111 it means, gary knows it all.so he pretend like he don't know. other RM members act too obvious....normal person like gary will surely knows...even kids will notice it too.lol~

  • @puterk90 shutup you like-me whore, who the fuck is running man? this the greatest film ever made. piss off

  • @puterk90 what episode was that?

  • @mosestheleader25 ep69 the true gary show.if i'm not mistaken.

  • i love the beginning when he's reading over the board, wish there was a youtube of that so i dont have to dig up by dvd case

  • ... If they believe him, is the truth. So this ending doesn't say that Verbal is Kaiser Soze. It says that Kaiser Soze may not have existed at all. A story made up by Verbal and nothing more.

  • @Angelslayer4231 but how do you explain him getting into "Kobayashi's" car at the end? if Keyser Soze IS just a name, then the character & evil behind it is still very real. Despite Verbal's story, we still KNOW he killed his entire "team" of fellow criminals and he still set up the whole deal, and the line-up before it. the REAL amazement at his character comes from the fact that he was prepared- and able- to do all that, NOT for $91m cash or coke, but simply to kill a mole. thats how big he is

  • Well. The thing about this particular ending is that possibly -none- of his story was real, and was all made up on the fly by Verbal, which is why they showed you the "inspiration" items to show where names and places came from as his tale unfolds. I mean, I haven't watched this movie in years but I remember bits and pieces of it. Looking back, I remember that the cops here don't have much information about what happened, just a pile of bodies and a "witness". So anything Verbal tells them, if

  • What I dont get is if Kobayashi was made up from the cup how were the fbi agent and Jeffrey talking about him being mentioned in a report from somewhere else

  • @RayRayBx That's a good find...hope you share with me when you get the answer )

  • The thing I wondered after it was revealed that Kint was Kaiser Sose was the part about Sose killing his own family...a fiction kint made up or real part of his past? Was he really from Europe or not? After he morphs from a cripple to a person with out CP, and he is the one who killed the guys he set up to work for him ... one gets the feeling he can pull anything off... Like but not quite a Satan--Evil beyond human feeling, A shapeshifter.

  • Nothing gets by you Peyton

    jk

  • so verbal was keyser soze?

  • @Peyton1828 Yup =)

  • How about the best part being that he inadvertantly reveals that he is Keyser Soze while Kuyan is going on about how Keyser Soze wanted the one Hungarian that could identify him and he goes "I SAID I never heard of him" of course agent Kulyan moves on simply saying "I'm not saying you did, but Keaton did" not realizing it but Verbal just answered for Soze in the first person

  • the first time i saw this, i got goosebumps.

  • Best movie twists the usual suspects the others fight club shutter island and the 6th sensse

  • In a world of HD why are you watching something recorded by a video camera watching tv or in a movie theater? Like watching something through a mayonnaise jar

  • The best part about this movie is you don't know if verbal is soze

  • @shadesaubry Verbal is Soze, the police sketch of Soze looks like Verbal.

  • The ending of Silence of the Lambs and this, made me shit myself for a month after i saw it.

  • I remember the first time I saw this... my jaw was on the floor.

  • Kusan telling Verbal Soze was really Keaton: OH SHIT!

    Verbal starts walking normally: asdfjkl;a;lsdkflaskjlfkjk

  • man "buffering" pisses me off.

  • @bastardluv This was an epic ending but Sixth Sense was a masterpiece.

  • Sixth sense sucked, except for the ending. Usual suspect was an okay-to-good movie whose ending made the rest worth a few repeated watchings. Fight club. Now that was a great movie front to back that wasnt carried by its twist.

  • Ok i loved the film it was just fuckin suberb, great twist, BUT!! my question is (sorry if its a dumb question).. was Verbal really the DEVIL?? so many referances " this guy is protected by the prince of darkness" "the greatest trick the devil ever pulled" "how do you shoot the devil in the back"???

  • @philboboggins agree. this movies is deep and means something.

  • @philboboggins Good theory actually.Best movie ever (Top 10,if not Top 5,anyway.)The Dark Knight is my favorite movie of all time, but The Usual Suspects is the best.

  • @philboboggins I think that it was just a nickname, you could kill Verbal, but he was just fucking clever and a killingmashine. He is not the devil just a psyco who tricked the ass out from anyone.

  • CLASSIC ENDING

  • KINGUDA

  • guys i have one question

did verbal kent made some of the caharcters up? like redfoot, soze, and kobayashi?

or did he make the whole thing up?

  • @powerslave710 No one knows if he made up the whole story or only parts.

  • @powerslave710 He made the whole thing up....keyser soze never existed!!!

  • @ronbag123 ok why did the burnt hungarian guy in the hospital mentioned his name?

  • @ronbag123 bull shit, he just changed the names.

  • EPIC ENDING!

  • Every lie has a little bit of truth........

  • one of the most underatted movies of all time.

  • @flaboi2929

    Being #25 on IMDb's top 250 I wouldn't think so.

  • "Mr Redfoot knew nothing"

At that point I always think Redfoot's grinning at Kujan's stupidity in Kujan's head... but at the same time Redfoot didn't exist, Verbal made him up.

    Mindfuck indeed

  • @dkthg so TOMA SHAKASO!!!

  • @dkthg rem you said that there was no geyser doze nd then you said it was Keaton, so your contradicting everything that you say cos now you said it was fenster. Make your mind up! I know who size was, vie seen the film which btw was awesome nd probes the best film I've seen so far, and vie read about the film so tom s

  • Keyser Soze = greatest troll ever.

  • One of only good scenes in the movie, too bad it was predictable.

  • @MGSFan22 fuck you! Soze will have you killed!!

  • greatest ending to a movie......ever

  • i am keyser soze

  • I always loved Kobayashi's smirk that he gives Verbal. It's like he's saying "Heh, they bought it, didn't they?"

  • I actually thought the movie was just ok---til the ending. My jaw was on the floor for about 5 hours after seeing it. One of the best(if not THE best) endings in all of movie history

  • @bbdogrocks13 Yeah i have to agree, for a lot of the film it seemed pretentious and unoriginal, slow moving with a good cast though. But the ending was pretty fantastic, Still i wouldn't say it makes the entire film but Kevin Spacey is definitely one of the better actors in Hollywood.

  • One of the greatest films in all of history . One of my top favourites !!

  • If you really want a MIND FUCK, watch shutter island. My mind officially lost its virginity after watching Shutter Island.

  • One of the greatest cast on a movie, and that end is just out of this world so so so fucking great I love movies which end this way like you end up shocked!

  • When I first saw this, I thought I had it figured out. I was convinced that at first Keyser was agent Kujan, then I saw and thought it was Keaton. I was blown away when it was Kent.

  • PETE POSTLEWAITE and Kevin Spacey performances made this movie UNIQUE. One of my FAV movies all time, no doubt

  • best ending ever . kevin spacey brilliant

  • very few movies can 'mindfuck/ me anymore..

Most Hollywood movies are mindless waste but..

This ending really blew my mind! epic twist

  • the people who dont like this film have some serious brain issues

  • Spoiling this ending should be illegal.

  • One of my all-time favorite favorite best-ever films. I fell in love with someone during the '90s when he said "And just like that, he was gone" in a conversation. Not that many people had even seen this movie back then.

  • Greatest movie ending i've ever seen.

  • 2011 I saw it on a local TV Chanel. FML for not knowing about it earlier. Although in the last 3 days i have seen it 3 times during massive midterms.

  • To be honest, I was a bit disappointed by the ending.. I mean, it was a pretty good twist, but it wasn't the total mind fuck I'd heard the film had. Too much hype I guess, it can ruin anything.

  • @Jinxxeh Fuck you! There was no Kaiser Soze! It was Keaton! Soze doesnt exists!

  • @dkthg lol lol lol you dont get the film. You got it all wrong, watch the film again and then write what you know :(Y) ok

  • @giannafcb56 fuck you! It was Fenster! Fenster is Soze! He flipped us, flipped us FOR REAL!!

  • @dkthg Yeah.. I know, I've seen the film. I understand what happened. No need to get all riled up, I mean, it was good, just not as good as I'd expected.

  • One of the best endings to one of the best films EVAR.

  • Keyser Söze

  • Comment removed

  • New debate six sense vs usual suspects endings who wins

  • @DEATHGOD198255 Dora the explorer Trip To Africa...

  • The music when he sees the word Kobayashi on the bottom of the cup is such a great musical "oh shiiiii--"... and Kujan replaying all his trying-to-seem-smart-and-scary comments to 'Verbal' as he desperately runs after him, kicking himself as the real mastermind lights a cigarette and drives off... genius filmmaking

  • The greatest of mindfucks in mindfuck history

  • "But I'm sure Keaton is dead"..... of course you do, Keyser Soze, you killed him !! Ha Ha !!

  • @MrUKFORLIFE

He even says "I killed Keaton" when the cop is yelling at him.

  • @Usul573 Yup, missed it first time I saw it (then I looked it up on Imdb) but second time round it's so clear.

Can't find the guy at the end though who is meant to be pointing and laughing at the camera after the reveal of Keyser Soze.

  • all go and watch the movie and you will understand this

  • Could Chuck Norris beat Keyser Soze? No way!

  • wtf happened at the end

  • i remember, like 10 minutes before this scene i said to me, "yeah nice movie, Keaton is really Soze, theres no chance to my favourite Spacey be the Soze, the king because he is rested on station, and after that, its just happened..." ♥♥♥

  • R I P , PETE POSTLEWAITE.

  • miss u mr.kobayashi rip

  • This film rocks, love the ending-had to scoop my jaw off the floor! Not many movies ever affect me that way--RIP Pete~what a loss~~

  • R.I.P. Kobayashi

  • @AwesomeSpeeches does he die? >.<

  • Goodbye, Pete

  • rip mr kobayashi

  • Watch the coffee mug as it breaks in three different shots. It breaks three different ways.....that cup must have belonged to the real Keyser Soze

  • 0.54 secs

  • I love this film: rest in peace, Pete Postlethwaite

  • Brilliant- I think I will have to watch it again to really pick up on all the subtle hints!

  • @puddin209 Keaton: "I can't feel my legs, Kaiser." First scene of the movie. Brilliant film.

  • there is something that doesn't make sense.....if Kint was indeed Keyser Soze and he set up the mission to kill the person who could identify him.....what's the whole purpose of doing all that if at the end of the movie the FBI know what he looks like now anyway?

  • @heshy44 Because he didn't realize anyone else got off the boat alive. His intention was to kill everyone. Keyser screwed up, though completely unknowingly.

  • what i don't understand is what was all that fuzz about Keyser, he was a mythical figure that everyone was afraid of... Did Verbal made it up a long time ago, or did he just improvise with an existing myth... Why did he want to kill that guy in the ship?

  • @Pentagon1311 It's a little ambiguous, the existence of Söze. However, it's pretty clear that if he didn't exist as Kint explained him, then he was at least a mythical being of some sort because Agent Jack Baer knew the name, without having ever met Kint, when the hospitalized Hungarian mentioned his name. It's possible Kint, IS Söze or He simply used the already existing myth to his advantage.

  • @Pentagon1311 The guy on the boat, that "Söze" wanted dead, was someone who could "finger" Söze. That was the whole purpose for the mission. "Söze" was using the other guys to get him aboard the boat so he could kill the one guy who could identify him. We know that this "Söze" was actually Verbal Kint because the Hungarian in the hospital saw, who he believed to be, Keyser Söze, then described the composite drawing that very much resembles Verbal Kint.

  • @Pentagon1311 Verbal Kint may or may not be Keyser Söze, but he is certainly the guy that conned Keaton and the others the whole time.

  • and just like that, this became the coolest movie ever !

  • 2:40 Three 6 Mafia - Spill my blood

  • The movie was a solid, but the ending was a great one because it was a genuine surprise, perfectly executed.

  • This ending was absolutely incredible! Genius!!!

  • I LOVE IT

  • can somebody tell me who keyser soze is or who he could possibly be cause i saw this like 20 minuites ago and im lost as shit.

  • @llamasarus1 I could be wrong, but, I think, in the movie, Keyser Soze is, in fact, the devil himself. Alternatively, he could just be a criminal with a winning strategy. I think the question of KS's ultimate identity is left to the viewer.

  • @cdkgb i actually finally figured it out. Keyser soze is verbal kint. Hints: the detective guy looks at the pin board and finds out how verbal improvised his explaination. Hint 2: The character sketch came out to look like verbal. Hint 3: You see him limp away from the police station and seconds later you see him walk away than use his "bad" hand to light a ciggarette. Hint 4: He drives away with kobayashi which who keyser works with. Hint 5: verbal yells out "Fuck" when keyser is mentioned.

  • @cdkgb It's never explicitly said that Kint is Soze but it's clear that Kint is, in actuality, a criminal mastermind. He made the whole story up from items on the board he was staring at when they were questioning.

Also, the guy in the hospital describes Kint, to a "T", believing him to be Keyser Söze. We know the person he describes as Söze, is Kint, because of the composite drawing that gets faxed to the police station where Agent Kujan is questioning Kint.

  • @cdkgb Söze may or may not be real, but regardless, Kint used Söze's story to answer the police questions and, to fabricate his story.

My opinion is that Kint is Keyser Söze. Keaton's killer doesn't correct him when, just before Keaton is killed, Keaton says, "I can't feel me legs, Keyser". It's pretty well implied that Keaton, at this moment, knows he has been played and who is more likely to have played Keaton and the crew, than an incapable cripple who was the only one to have survived.

  • @cdkgb Also, I almost forgot: the lighter Kint uses to light his cigarette at the end seems to very much resemble the lighter used by Keaton's killer before he shoots Keaton. This implies Kint was Keaton's killer.

  • @strych97 Actually the whole point of him lighting the cigarette was to prove that he was indeed left-handed. In the movie, his left side is crippled, to throw off the clever movie enthusiasts who may have had a hunch that it was Kint.

  • @ruunit Your assertion that the lighter scene was used to show Kint was actually left handed does not remove the fact that his lighter at the end is similar to the one used by Soze on the boat. I would actually contend that Kint having the same lighter is FAR more convincing of his true identity than him being left handed like Soze. Many people are left handed, not many have the same lighter. Also, as far as his left side not being crippled? We already see that when his gait changes.

  • @strych97 Right, but I wasn't talking about the lighter. In an interview with the director, Spacey originally wanted to have his left leg and right hand crippled, but was told that because one side of the brain is impaired, a whole side of the body is crippled, and he said too that the whole point of Kint being crippled was to hide any possibility that he could be left-handed. Besides, all lighters look similar anyway. Note him feeling out his left hand before going for the lighter.

  • @ruunit You're claiming that the ONLY purpose of that scene is to show Kint was actually left handed?

This is silly. This whole scene shows EVERYTHING that needs to be known by the audience. Namely that Kint IS the guy on the boat. His hand orientation is only a small part of the whole.

Also, not all lighters are similar. I mean come on. Those lighters could be said to be identical if we could see but a little more of them. Further, they look nothing like a standard, ubiquitous, Bic or Zippo.

  • @strych97 No you have me wrong. The purpose of that particular SHOT in that scene was to prove that he could use his left hand, which opens up the possibility that he can use a left-handed lighter, like Soze. The director specifically said the crippled left side was to hide away the idea that he may be left handed.

  • @ruunit Fair enough then but when you say, "Actually the whole point of him lighting the cigarette was to prove that he was indeed left-handed." it sounds like you're insisting there is nothing else to be gleaned from the shot, which is simply untrue. It's that whole, "Actually..." part, that implies this.

The fact that a director says a particular shot, or entire movie for that matter, is "about" one thing means nothing if multiple items can be inferred from it.

  • ..geniale finale, geniale Kevin!

  • poor Kobayashi :(

  • As part of my job I have to talk pretty often to ISP helpdesk guys. And they pretty much always ask for my name.... I'm always tented to say "Keyser Soze":).

  • I saw it coming, yyyeeppp

  • @kosovanwhizkid I bet you did, definately not after they revealed that Keaton was Keyser Soze ;)

  • @ThaMovieManiac Don't worked about it, I'm not criticising the film, it was brilliant.

  • (...) and he is GONE

  • MIND FUCK

  • They don't make movies like this anymore.

  • Don't get me wrong.... the ending was EPIC....

But everything before that, looks like a 'B' Movie... :S

  • @saantinoo Yeah i watched it because someone told it had an epic ending. Everything before that was kind of slow.

  • notice how before this scene when verbal went to get his items from the desk one of them is a ciggarette lighter but earlier in the film due to his 'cerebal plasy' he couldn't work one ... thats the sign of an incredibly clever film :)

  • @blablaman233 I didn't even think of that. Nice catch!

  • WTF?? Is this censored? where's "you knew, you knew the whole fucking time"???

    FAIL

  • He knew the whole fucking time.

  • When I first watched hs movie, a friend of mine told me that Keaton was Keyser Soze, so I honestly believed that THAT was the twist. My mind was blown when it turned out to be Verbal.

  • Love the film!
