I'm making this tonight! I'm really excited! Was that crust any good though? I'll definitely leave you guys a review after I'm done! :) btw, I loved this tutorial!
yes! they work VERY well :) I added a egg wash to the crust with some sugar to dust it on! :) this was my very first pie ever and it came out great thanks to your video! I followed everything on here, EVERYTHING!! :) I'm so happy and thanks so much for the video! :)
@mermaidstar7 I understand what you're saying. This is the extended "director's cut" of the video. In its original theatrical release, the apple-cutting scene was much shorter.
Thanks! I used your recipe to show my ESL kids in Japan how to make this traditional American treat. They had a great time and were surprised how easy it was to make.
Thank you this was such a cute video and good recipe but I tried the recipe and mine came out delicious but runny. Next time I'm only going to bake it the first time at 425 for 30 minutes because it didn't get runny until the second part of baking.
Very nice video. I actually used most of this recipe to bake a pie for a church competition. To my surprise, I got 3rd place. Keep up the good work ;)
Ok, first congratulations for learning baking at your age. The video was quite cute and sincere. However, I'd like to point out several things that would make your experience much easier and the result much better. You also need to leave the store bought crust in the store, and make your own crust. I wish I had time to elaborate right now, but I have to go tend the oven...perhaps I'll make my own video later... :) again, good job!
haha, the video stopped when you were putting your hands in the water to moisten the sides of the pie crust, and i was like, "wat's he doing? is he rinsing his hands??" lol
You really should give it a try- it really is an easy recipe and it really tastes great! I personally recommend eating it with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream on top.
fantastic!

Nice guitar work, Jordan, and I'll have to show this to my wife so she can make one for me, cause it looks like too much work for a lazy guy like me.

Good luck with that! BTW, I take no credit for the guitar work- that's Bruce Cockburn from his instrumental CD, "Speechless."

I love the background music. The pie looked delicious. My hubby asked me to make peach cobbler this weekend. Do you have a recipe for that?
