Think about it: thousands done every week: where are all the crippled cats? If these problems were true, they would be obvious. Cats are also not anatomically the same as us: in a declaw the tendons are cut and the claw, which is attached to a tiny vestigial bone, is removed: it is NOT removal of digits like in us.
