@Feuerfluss made very rough translation, just to give an idea Despite of the night took away all dark clouds Days are still full of bitter darkness We are splitting, it will be better for us Together we can get out from this darkness I remember everything what we were dreaming of But life is not for those who likes to dream We were trying to escape But kept moving along the wall
Does this song have anything to do with "The Witcher" series by Andjei Sapkowski? Cause there is a short story with the same name in one of the books.
@TheMakimakica YOU are 100% right. Aria was influenced by Maden but only partialy. In my opinion the difference between the two is that Iron Maden try to show that they are a bad ass where the guys from Ariya are a bad ass and build their music in one of the hardest times of Soviet Union, They survived perestroyka and the fall of the Union. They are also great musitians.
@grimcele to bad the singer is not the same. The guy on this video is not with Aria anymore. But the one they have now is not so bad, just his voice is different.
the soviet union was the reason...i read the aria's official book and it was said that soviet union was the reason that aria is not so popular in west....
@garrettkirkthompson I think the first reason is that they sing in Russian and have never tried to become a pro-western band like, let say, "Gorky Park", who sang in USA and in English.
