I saw her do perform this same track on MuchMusic Toronto,and she was dressed as Dorothy from the Wiz with a little dog and two dancers dressed up like flying monkeys. hillarious....whatever happened to her?

IIRC April 24th 1998. The last TOTP being used with no theme tune and the opening titles went straight to the first performance, but The Tamperer was the highest new entry at number three and Run DMC was still at number 1 for a sixth week.

It was the "first" time since the last TOTP look when The Specials performed Ghost Town on 2nd July 1981 before the new logo and set was demonstrated in time.

ha ha. Yes I remember! It was quite odd. But I also remember a few odd things that year chart wise. Some records just hung around for ages like Savage Garden Truly Madly Deeply. An Celine Dionne got to number 1 twice! 1990 was also similar. Adamski Killer took a while to reach number one. And some other hits spent a long time in the top ten.
