  • How can GEJ say that "Boko Haram is more serious than the Biafran War in the 1960's"? " million people died between 1967 and 1970 in the Nigerian Biafran war. Are you sure, GEJ said that, Katie?

  • Nigeria is at a cross roads if we want change we must do something about it now not just complain. Boko Haram is not this government's fault although it is up to this government to take action. Lack of opportunities and continued poverty drives people to the arms of extremists not just in Nigeria but we see this all over the world. It is easy to exploit people with no hope. Follow me on twitter @sandsurfin I expand more on what I said on the program.

  • He agreed in July 2009 to his son's request to return to the San'a Institute for the Arabic Language in Yemen to study Arabic from August to September 2009. In October, it was said that his son sent him a text message saying that he wanted to study sharia and Arabic in a seven-year course in Yemen. please investigate that man!

  • If not for the terrorism act of his son, nobody would have known much about this silent billionaire. He played a major role in introducing Islamic banking into Nigeria. His son, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, attempted to detonate plastic explosives aboard Northwest Airlines Flight 253 on December 25, 2009.

  • Hi it is really a same that Nigerian SSS cannot go after and find the sponsors of Boko Haram. I was just listening to the news the recent attack are really bad and should not continue. I think SSS should investigate This silent billionaire so called (Alhaji Umaru Abdul Mutallab). This man is a one of the richest northern man i believe he has a hand in Boko Haram.

  • nigerians always try to bring up ghana....mind your own buisness, handle your own problems...dont bring up ghana because your're jealous

  • @MerchandiseRichTV

lol Jealous of what? From what I can tell, most Nigerians point to Ghana as an example to follow in terms of propre social development. The world isn't always black or white.

  • @MerchandiseRichTV what are you on about crack head, why would nigeria be jealous of ghana,no basis of jealousy.

  • This Garba guy is over dramatizing the issues and making wild allusions in a bid to discredit the fact that Boko Haram are indeed in Govet..Boko Haram sympathizers are indeed in government. This has made it difficult for the security forces,Judiciary etc to deal with the issue.

Again, the fact is that in 2009, Pres. Yar'adua ordered security to arrest the Boko Haram violence because they had killed innocent citizens.Boko Haram was never provoked, they have violently provoked Nigerians & our govt.

  • can anyone imaging what a precedent saying that shows how weak it is

  • Nigeria is on "lock-down" status....who is losing? The goverment or the people? These people are too ignorant to understand the purpose of lifting the subsidy. But I can't blame them either......nigeria goverment cannot be trusted.

  • Bokom Haram is a bi-product of Petrol subsidy. The petrol smugglers across the boarders to Niger Rep, Chad etc after offloading their products, import Islamic Militants (who are non-Nigerians) into the country. Most of those killed as Boko Haram have been identified as non-Nigerians. If the smuggling is discouraged by removing subsidies, the tendency of bringing in militants can be reduced,

  • Nigerians have been suffering for years. Nigerians have to understand that when a child is ill of malaria fever, the child is given bitter chloroquine to get cured. What the Govt are seeing, the common man cant see. The oil cabals benefit too much from the subsidy, and the removal will discourage smuggling that has been responsible for scarcity, which necessitated importation by govt. Only states being governed by non-PDP are protesting. This is political.

  • @nehiAso you actually have a point but don't forget that we're talking about Nigeria. we don't care if oil cabals steal some oil money, what about the hundreds of senators, governors, ministers etc that constantly steal thousands of dollars on a daily basis? rather than make the average Nigerian suffer they should stop their greed and corruption. oil cabals are corrupt because they know they would go scott free since the nation and its leaders are corrupt.

  • just came back from Lagos. They're lost.

  • This sani Guy is just a sentimental ignoramus, how can an educated man talk like that, these people are simply biased and it is not hidden atall

  • why does this fck have to make faces when reporting news?

  • @tsti1es

You're so right. He keeps doing that sideways lean as if he think he's cool.

  • The internal combustion engine freed all for extreme slavery, Today they fight for natural energy and carbon tax. natural energy is human energy(slavery) and the carbon is the by-product of natural energy. Back to the future/Black in the future.

  • As always the liberals as that woman, live in their fantasy world.

"a minority of the Muslims want sharia laws"

    really?

Probably that's the reason that all northern states have voted in sharia legal systems, similar to the Taliban's one.

Probably that's why that not just a majority , but a supreme majority of the northerners repeatedly shown in polls support for a sharia legal system.

    the partition is inevitable.

    better sooner than later.

Southerns don't really need the northerners.

    let them go.

  • @AmetReloads Being liberal has no relevance to whether you recognize religious threat. Ignoring religious threats is also the tool of conservatives.. When it is their religion, as you see in society's against America's south and more vividly, in Bahrain's recent protest. As for your suggestion; you should take to note that segregating states is hardly the solution for Africa as we have seen with our latest example in Southern Sudan.

  • WHY DOES EVERYTHING INVOLVE OIL AND RELIGION

  • boko who are them and why no one stop them too many died it look like endless situation their poor people and the worse no one care.

  • Africa cannot get its act together... darkness has consumed the hearts of too many Africans. Those who want peace and prosperity are always brought down by those whose hearts have been consumed by darkness. Many Nations including America will fall under the spell of darkness if they don't restore virtue, and challenge the darkness that grows like ivy.

  • @RamsesReturns The problem in Nigeria is ISLAM

  • It's not a crisis, it's just the religion of piss, Islam, taking its natural course...

  • @caporalchef4

again we see an inbred caucasian talkin shit on a muslim channel. nobody in history has as much blood on their hand as the caucasian, but you want to talk about islam? ha ha. without islam europe would still be in caves. how about you focus on giving justice to the native americans whom you displaced and brutalised, or you could repent for all the children canada has killed in afghanistan and libya. before you criticise others for their morality, you better have a leg to stand on

  • @nem700 Islam in 2012 is a backward, violent ideology. Instead of living in the past and desperatly accusing others, why don't you speak up about what Islamic criminals are doing to innocents in Negeria in the name of a spremacist Islamic state?! NO? That's what I thought.

  • @nem700 Al-Jazira is an Arabic chennel, not an exclusively Muslim one, king kong. Inbred? HA! 50% of muslims are uneducated illeterates, having no problems marrying their first cousins! Yes, Islam were the gardian of knowledge a 1000 years ago. What has it contributed since then, except Islamic conquests? It's a shame what has been done to Native Americans, ages ago.Canada's not committed in a Genocide of the Afghan people and Lybians, you fuckin imbecile, and appologized for accidental deaths.
