A thought about questioning. I actually lost a friend over "questions" in Christianity. I thought this was a legitimate question. I asked him if God ever asked him to kill his own child, if he would do it. I brought up the story of Abraham and he was outraged insisting that I MUST read the bible. However I was confused, as I was explained to multiple times that God and the Devil wagered that Abraham would kill his son, to show his faith to God. When I asked my friend if he would do it.

@viktermore The Old Testament clearly allowed Polygamy and was practiced widely therein. Exodus 21:7-10 describes this. King Solomon had 700 or so wives. King David had 6.
Refer to Mathew 5:17-18 as Christ says he didn't come to abolish the law. Polygamy was allowed in the Old Testament and widely practiced.

When we DIDNT have that - in a specific time, it was when my country was ruled by ATHEISTIC PIGS. They tortured the people, killed them, imprisoned them. Thousands died because of them.

A thought about questioning. I actually lost a friend over "questions" in Christianity. I thought this was a legitimate question. I asked him if God ever asked him to kill his own child, if he would do it. I brought up the story of Abraham and he was outraged insisting that I MUST read the bible. However I was confused, as I was explained to multiple times that God and the Devil wagered that Abraham would kill his son, to show his faith to God. When I asked my friend if he would do it.

Do you thinks it's possible to have true moral, to be selfless, nonviolent, ect. without religion? My parents didn't really bring me up to believe in anything, so I've always been mixed on what I believe. I think I'm very open minded when it comes to religion. You're right, religion should unite us. It doesn't because a higher power gave us free will, but we aren't all blessed with the ability to use it property (Nature vs Nurture).

Islam allows man to have many wifes. When man has many wifes he has to treat them with same love. One woman will always have characteristic better then other woman. Man will have conflict in his mind because he will always try to treat wifes the same. In his mind it is impossible to do. His mind will be corrupted forever.
God who is smart can not give advice that will corrupt mind.
Conclusion: Muhammad gives wrong advice. Islam God is not smart. God who is not smart is not real God.

It was only Mohammed that put a limit @ 4. How many wives did Abraham have, three. How many wives did David have, many. How many wives did Solomon have 300 wives & CONCUBINES. Concusion: If your logic applies to Islam, it must also apply to Christianity.God (the creator) knows us better than we know ourselves. You may not be able to treat more tha 1 woman with respect and dignity and equality, but some men can. 2nd conclusion, Islam is total submission to God's will. The message was the same from Abraham to David to Jesus and with all prophets between till Mohammed. GOD IS ONE.

All of the prophets taught that GOD IS ONE, and that our purpose is to submitt to him. As time passed the people strayed from the teaching, so God sent another prophet. Finally Mohammed was the last and final prophet, The Quran was not corruted it and the perfect message of the ONE GOD was preserved. I think overseer means elder/deacon/pasto and should serve as example for everyone.

@viktermore The Old Testament clearly allowed Polygamy and was practiced widely therein. Exodus 21:7-10 describes this. King Solomon had 700 or so wives. King David had 6.
Refer to Mathew 5:17-18 as Christ says he didn't come to abolish the law. Polygamy was allowed in the Old Testament and widely practiced.

It's sad to see so many people convert to islam and try to cover it up with excuses... there is no good REAL reason to convert to islam. You only get limitations to your life and forgot to enjoy it like any normal people would do... you must be wondering what are you doing with your life that you're so desperate that you convert.. Obviously most people want to convert because of their lifestyles and originality and I don't see any logic at that..they're looking for change, to worst direction.

Yes there is a risk of being raped, but that isnt the only reason I wear Hijab. Hijab doesnt just cover the hair, its loose clothing makes it difficult to see a woman's silhouette. So a man like you doesnt know whether I am skinnie or fat. In fact the purpose of hijab is protecting me from the EVIL DESIRES OF men,like you.
