I handcuffed a bunch of RB's in my league including Torain, who I didnt start this week and already cut. I still have the following RB's and dont know who to start. I need three.
**Also in my league we get points for return yards**
Tough matchups for the big boys is the huge question this week.
I would go with Westbrook, Rice and Charles. Norwood is a backup despite having some decent numbers here and there and Forte I am big on but that TEN defense is ridiculous.
Hatty, I have 5 RB on my team Addai, Hightower, Rice, Gore, and T.Jones. Which one of these guys can I trade for a consistent WR1 or should I stick with Marshall, Berrian, A. Bryant, and Matt Jones?
Also, I have Rashied Davis (he's a filler, I have Housh and Ocho on Bye), but again he is going against TEN. I think Haynesworth will make Grossman run for his life all day. I am thinking of dropping him this week for Mark Bradley or Josh Morgan. Maybe I can even add Boss cuz we have a WR/TE flex position. Bradley has been solid the last two weeks and seems to have built a good rapport with Thigpen the last 2 weeks so he's my first choice. Let me know! Thanks!
I have Forte, Lynch, Hightower (had him on my bench since week 1, Genius!) and Torain. I am thinking of starting Hightower and Torain. CLE can't stop the run and he's the only RB they have (Shanny says he'll probably get 20+ carries). Forte is great but he gets the stout TEN defense, so I'm benching him and BUF can not run block to save their lives so Lynch is benched until further notice. Let me know what you think about this reasoning.
I like the reasoning. It is always tough to bench your studs. Hightower is a no brainer this week but keep an eye on what Shanahan is going to do in Denver (check the website for our daily updates as this situation will be a focus) and if Torain looks to split carries I would stick with Forte.
Hatty I also have Stewart on the bench going against OAK. I know DeAngelo is the man there for now, but do you see Stewart vulturing a couple goaline TD's with 50 yards or so?
Jamaal Charles is going against the weak San Diego run defense so he could have a big game.
Cleveland plays at DEN who couldn't stop a bulldog from running for 100 yards so Lewis shoudl have a good day as well with Quinn coming in to start for the first time this year.
I think I would go with Colston. He had his game to get the rust off, had an off week and now I expect to have a nice week against a mediocre Atlanta secondary.
Hatty wondering if you could help me out. I have been offered Willie Parker and would give up Plaxico Burress straight up. What say you Thanks in advance.: My team (RB and WR) is as follows: Addai Edge (Done) Torain Ray Rice Roddy White Fitz Plax Derick Mason Lance Moore Kevin Walter
I think FWP looked good on Monday so either of those are good options. I would opt for FWP and snag M. Moore off the waiver wire as insurance for maybe Edge since he is all but done.
Tough call. Colston is coming off a bye and had his first game back to get rid of the rust. I think you gotta give him a shot until Denver's running game gets going and provides some relief and open opportunities for Royal.
I don't really view that as a problem. I think Mcgahee, Jones and Gore are benched for sure. I am not sure how many RB's you can play but I would say:
ok so i have Peyton manning vs steelers but i also have steelers D. Should i play steelers d and bench manning for rosenfels?... or play manning and bench steelers d for dolphins D??
oooh, that is always a tough call. I don't think you can bench the pittsburgh D after what they showed on Monday night. I cannot of sound mind recommend Rosenfells over Peyton either. You may just have to take your chances in starting both. What other QB's are on your wire?
I have been offered Brandon Jacobs for L.T. I was wondering maybe if I should take this, I did see a spark of L.T in Saints game, but also Brandon Jacobs is almost running as good as Tiki Barber! What do you think, i am also pretty weak at RB, I recently only picked up Cedric Benson and had Johnathan Stewart. My flex starter is Maurice Jones-Drew.
I would take LT for Jacobs. With the added role of Ward and Bradshaw and the Chargers sure to focus more on LT instead of their passing game I think that is a good trade.
You rock! I watch every week! Can you believe I picked up Ray Rice last week and I started Michael Bennett over him!?! Lost by 20 pts week 9... oh well. Keep them vids coming!
Ah, that is a tough one. There is nothing worse than when you lose and a guy on your bench could have gotten you the W. Keep Rice on your squad though.
Aight I have a HUGE question for ya.
I handcuffed a bunch of RB's in my league including Torain, who I didnt start this week and already cut. I still have the following RB's and dont know who to start. I need three.
**Also in my league we get points for return yards**
1. Brian Westbrook vs NYG
2. Matt Forte @ TEN
3. Jerious Norwood vs NO
4. Jamaal Charles @ SD
5. Ray Rice @ HOU
HELP ME OUT HERE..
Thanks

Ok Hatty 1 more question this week I swear. For my 3rd WR who do I start:
Plax (Eagles)
D. Mason (Texans)
Lance Moore (Falcons)- Rotoworld reported Colston will be limited to 3 receiver sets.
Thanks
Psmo21 3 years ago
I would go with Plax as you have to stick with you studs. This will be a primtetime game and Plax usually shows up when the spotlight is on.
Hatty

THe good news is that I think any of them are strong plays this week so you should turn out okay regardless of who you choose.
Hatty

OK Hatty I have to start 2 out of:
Addai (plays steelers)
Ray Rice (plays Texans)
Torain (Plays Browns)
Any Help appreciated.
Psmo21 3 years ago
those are some tough choices.
Ray Rice is a definite. The question becomes do you start a veteran against a steller D or a rookie on his first NFL start.
I always stick with studs when I have these decision so I am saying go with Addai. Torain could blow up but he could be a non factor as well.

Nice squad.
If you can move Jones for a WR that would be ideal. I would not tradeany of the other guys unless it is a WR1 though. Your WR core is not bad at all.

should i pick up ray rice or ryan torain
bucketheadvaidime 3 years ago
ooh, tough call. I am gonna say Torain since Rice still has competition and a weaker passing game.

I like Bradley. Scoop him up as the Chiefs are playing a Chargers secondary who cannot stop anything it seems this year.
