  • wow....this will be my next camera...God willing. just cannot afford the lx5 for now. =(

  • do you have to convert the video file so that it will play on the computer because for some reason i can't get any of my video programs to play the MOV. file. because it turns into a JPEG file when i upload it onto my computer

    thanks ^^

  • alert

    xDD

  • wow, these places looks like the future. man I wish I have lot of money to go to tokyo, japan! haha, its better than tijuana, Mexico because there in tijuana are very fucking dirty, bad people there, perverted too. they sell young and older women for sex, they sell some small stuffs or ghetto stuffs bec they need money badly. Bad city in Tijuana, dont go there ok?

  • @rockstar2677

thanks for the info.. ok I will make sure I will not go there. LoL

  • no plm. but you can visit any cities or mexico city in mexico, or any nice beach there in mexico too. its up to you, but dont go to tijuana only thats all. if ur curious want to see tijuana , thats fine but just be careful and keep more safe on you , your family, or your friends, ok?

  • @rockstar2677

    roger that

  • the video is not so clear.but the place is nice!

  • i miss japan! cant wait to go back there this month :)

  • You made me want to go vist there.

  • Go go power rangers!!!

  • THEY HAVE KRISPY KEME! yumm =]

  • they have like everything and more and its even safer there =D but wayyy expencive

  • And I'm not meaning to bash Japan or rave over China or anything like that. It's just that some people (mostly American adolescents) that have this absurd idea of what Japan is like without ever having travelled there (or anywhere in the world) or even second hand information on it, it's all just based on media depictions. It's just a regular first world country, fairly conservative mindset, temperate climate, a bit overpriced; much like Britain basically.

  • You make an extremely great point. I'm guilty of this myself, but I do have other reasons of really wanting to visit Japan besides how the media depicts Japan. I'm a techy and I do know that Japan is ahead of the curve on a lot of stuff(tech-wise) and I won't be able to find a lot of neat things that Japan has to offer, else where.

  • i agree 100% with the both of you, especially about the adolescents thinking there is a Utopia elsewhere without having ever left their own country

  • makabr!

  • That looks great. Pity that the sound in all still cameras is poor. I wonder if you they make an external microphone for the hot shoe.

  • algun dia tengo que ir a Japon

  • When you smile, you remind me of Jet Li...

  • At Night Japan Looks Very Cyberpunk

  • thers much more too see in japan than tokyo...japan is a great country, with a lot of great landscapes, the mountins and the cost...i use to go offen to japan, by google earth :D :D :D as many of you here!!!lol

  • what a buzy city

  • Japan is my dream I want to go so bad but my family would never want to go with me

  • go yourself

  • same here. Though all i need is some money, a good IT job, and learn some Japanese. Some day in the not to distant future would be nice.

  • Japan is overrated by people that have never been. I'm not saying it's not worth visiting, but I doubt it'll live up to the idea you've built up of it in your head. Hong Kong is a lot more fun.

  • GTFO.

  • the comment was for hellomarco :P

  • Just telling the truth,

    trollainas.

  • Harajuku IT´S TEH FUCKING TRUTH /B/TARD

  • Ah yes..

The children running around.. selling items.

The women standing around.. aren't they prostitutes?

The men walking around.. I think those are the Triads.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA, MARCO YOU'RE A FAIL.When you see a anything interesting in da streets of hong kong without the s.w.a.t.s or the army shoting ( do ya remember tiananmen riots?) while STFU N00B.

  • See, your stereotypical views just highlight what I said about these kind of opinions being harboured by people that have never visited these places or know anything about them other than pop culture misconceptions. Hong Kong wasn't even part of China during the Tiananmen incident.

But that's besides the point, I could turn your comment around and ask what you see interesting on the streets of Tokyo, other than salarymen going to work, teenagers, shoppers, etc. like any other city.

  • How does that post constitute a rebuttal of what I previously said?

  • 1:48 the guy seemed running like a girl.

    no offence.

  • hola tokyostormtrooper xD saludos desde venezuela

  • this makes me miss being in Japan all the more.. also reminds me to get saving...

  • Very nice video. ^^

  • way too blurry with motion.

  • This is a point-and-shoot right? Not Bad.

  • I'm considering getting rid of my cam coder after I bought LX3. Yes the sound quality is quite poor, but it's not a big problem.

  • Nice video.

  • do you find yourself using your dslr less with this around?

  • in the life of >:D? but wew randomness -almost-

  • oooo the life of japan :D

  • Hey Danny! Nice video. Quality is very good. The sound may be a bit crappy, but it's still a photo camera after all. :-)

  • aw, you're cute :D

  • What time was it taken at?

I notice very few cars at the streets, but quite a lot of people...

  • where was tht man running at 1:47 maby he left the gas on?

  • does it rlly matter? lol

  • maby not!.........to the un trained eye

  • jaja gooog video!!!

  • Who needs a plane ticket when I can walk the streets of Japan right here?

1:49. WTF??? XD Reminds me of Shaun of the Dead.

  • I put a video response of a video I made using a similar spec camera but you can see the difference from using a different format. I bought DIVX to convert my movies to a better format that lets me use the HD option on youtube.

  • Oh, yeah I also meant to just show that video to you since it has nothing to do with the camera. Sorry about that. Just woke up so I wasn't thinking straight yet. hehe.

  • My God that's beautiful. Gives Normal and High Quality (&fmt=18) options, but no HD (&fmt=22) option. Still freakingly gorgeous. I don't know what the word is... the angle of vision? The amount you can see from left to right? Perfect. Canon HF10's been busting my nuts over that.

  • Oh sweet memories - I was just at the "SEGA" spot you were.. Miss it so much!

  • Not bad at all! Great little camera...

  • i want a lumix too :3 (namely the ones promoted by ayu XD)

  • Why was there a lady walking with one of them white masks on? I dont understand, birdflu and sars finished long ago.

  • I thought people wore those when they're sick so they don't spread their germs when they cough?

  • yea you're 100% correct ;P

  • I somewhat remember being told that it's because the Japanese see it as impolite to wipe your nose in public, so when they have a cold they cover up with a mask so that no one has to see... yeah, you get the picture.

  • colds pass germs. they dont like passing on jerms so they wear those...my theory :]

  • ya ya ya

  • Very nice video quality. Another reason to get this camera.

  • Danny you ROCK!!!

  • Danny, have I told you lately I love you? Like a brother from another mother. (^_^)

  • Aww, what was the place you were going in to before you turned the camera off? It looked cool!

    Anyway, great video (quality-wise)!

Oh, quick question! Do you put something else on while you're wearing the Stormtrooper gear when it's cold out? Cuz I think it would be quite chilly wearing it this time of the year.

  • its cool to see the streets of Tokyo like that, i really hope it get a chance to go there one day

  • Can the camera upload directly to Youtube or do you need any third party interfaces ?

  • great vid!

you should make this kind of vid more often!!

  • Awsome new camera, Danny. Funny to see a few people running. Reminds me of New York.

  • I want one!

  • everyone you see in that video owns a Nintendo DS...just sayin

  • I

    WANT

    TO

    GO

    SO BAD!!!! :(

  • Krispy Kreme without a line in front of it in Japan? How is that possible?

Beautiful time of the year in Japan.

    Chuckled at the salaryman running.

  • So many advedrtisements and lights...

  • lol you should see shinjuku...around the kabukicho area!

  • SEC$OND

  • Awesome
