  • After practicing the traditional golf swing for about 10 yrs now I started to shank the ball for some reason ...My swing coach asked me if I trusted him and he started to teach me the right sided swing..at first I wasnt a believer but after I was able to stamp the swing a little OMG am I hitting the ball with ease this is truly truly a great golf swing....

  • You are leaving out the bump as the first move in the downswing. If these guys don't get therelegs/ waist to move first then their shoulders will take over and come over the top.The RSS is great but it still has to apply to the laws of biomechanics and centrifigal force. That liitle move left-The Bump-will make the hips go next then the hips pulling the torso and right side around. This is not hard to do and it creates a feel for a great golf swing with handle leading the club head.

  • not a huge fan of this video, as he doesnt explain the concept of radius at all, and his definition of spine angle at address is not correct, Probably better to go straight to gary edwin's website and get the right info.

  • hi kris which video do you suggest i watch to get a full and better understanding of all the key positions in the right side swing

  • Good video. I've tried the swing and it works for me.

  • By the way you need to review Gary Edwin's Right Sided Golf Swing. You do not face the ball at impact or let you left arm colapse.

  • Nice little pitch shot ,but your divot was under the ball.Because you don't turn your hips, your hands are not in the correct impact position. This is like S&T without any forward motion, terrible. The pitch shots you were hitting would go almost full disatnce with hip turn instead you got a chili dip block.I hope your not using Mo Normans name ,this instruction insults his legacy.

  • I can swing my irons wonderfulyy using this swing...but I tried my driver this weekend and it didn't go quite as well....Can you demonstrate this swing with the Driver next?

    Thanks!

  • I'm a "new golfer" (about 6 months actively) and I saw this video a couple days ago...I immediately went out and tried it...I have never struck the ball better....Almost immediately did my game improve...now I can actually strike the ball with consistency and accuracy!!!! I love this swing....Who cares what people think...t works for me....I haven't tried it with my driver yet but I will this weekend.

  • That's awesome, all the best. Kris Moe

  • sorry but this is wrong. every good player in the history of golf had more tilt at impact then address.

    every

    100%

so much for "keeping your spine angle"

  • OK.

  • @pecky1234 dude... what u said is true. BUT u forgot, the RSS is set up with a tilt as it is at IMPACT position. therefore u return back to it ald with a greater tilt as compared to the conventional setup..

  • @pecky1234 more flaws than just that. where's the finish in this model? players leaning back with abbreviated reverse c's dangerous on back! people should always be leary when no big names currently use this model!

  • G'day, I have been playing golf for about ten years as a hack. I went to have a round of golf on the weekend and the course was booked out so I went to the range and booked in my first ever lesson. The PRO, Tom Fielding, changed my setup to having a straight line (viewed from the front) through my shoulder, my hip to my ankle. My slice and my low left pull are gone and I am driving 30metres longer (when I set up correctly). I now have a consistancy that I can rely on and am very excited about it

  • Sounds like the lesson was a good investment. All the best for continued success!

  • Why are you guys so negative? This swing pattern has shown promise on 4 professional tours. No one has one a major with it yet, but that doesn't devalue it. People who down right hand powered swings do not understand Physics or Geometry. Find your truth in the dirt. There are several ways to successfully strike a golf ball.

  • I can't believe this talk of a right handed swing.

The swing will always be a TWO SIDED technique, with both sides working in harmony with each other.

There's no way around this problem ,so cut the bullshit and talk about the left side too,it won't bite you.

  • pathetic grandma can hit it further

  • You cant comment on something you dont understand,,,all these guys gary has on the tour, are enough for me to think that this style works,,it works fine for me,,if you dont have the brains to except something different, well thats your problem,,just take the time to listen to the solid contact being made,,,grow up!!!!!!

  • Cause your shoulders and spine tilt right, but your wieght is left, over your left leg, maybe 60/40 or so,,,if you like a simple ,but powerful swing,, check it more out,,,,this is why Australia a small country, always has great players on the Tour

  • I like a simpler swing!

  • He's using his right side to fire through the stroke. A left sided stroke would be more of a pulling action. He is pushing and not pulling.

  • Good video. just one question. Why do they call it right sided swing?
