  • Not sure what's going on with their cabin crew... they used to provide a fantastic service but many of them now seem content to neglect and ignore passengers in Economy.

  • yea, so how do you apply? :) but am just 5'3 " 5'7' is the req. isn't it? haha

  • That is my ONE GOAL in FUTURE ,therefore I learn !!!!! :)))

  • @TheEmiratesfan

try Etihad Airways, simply they r the best now

  • YIEEE!! I cannot wait to apply for this job after my 2 years of National Service! Ouh btw, are they engaging male cabin crew? This is my dream career since I was 7 !

  • i wouldn't mind this job but i don't want to live in dubai!!

  • is there any age limit for being stward..?

  • BOOOOOM!!!!!

  • To be a cabin crew you must be not clever but beautiful and to expose yourself like the fashion parades while waking between PAX in the corridor of the A/C. Unfortunately no one really loving the air or the work in air has the chance to be a cabin crew... DAMN, UNFAIR SELECTION.

  • i cant wait 8 more years and hopefully ill become cabin crew for emirates aswell but does any1 know how to apply? can you plz send me a message if you know thanx

  • just go to UAE AIRLINES website! i hope ull be flight attendant sumday!

  • yh you go on to the emirates home page or go to google and taype in emirates creers and it should come up and then at the bottom it has apply and you click on that

  • i wish i work pilot in emirates airlines :)

  • im really looking for cabin crew job at emirates airline... hope will get it , im so excited n love the uniform of emirates airline. emirates or dubai is the best country i ever been .... love it :)

  • Good Luck! :)

  • if you are lazy and cannot make it in your own country, go and join them. Emirates, Qatar & Etihad which I have flown with before has one of the worst cabin crew for the supposedly high standard middle eastern airlines.

  • Well maybe you should take a second look. Emirates & Etihad Airways are some of the best airlines. Maybe its just your attitude towards them or you have had bad crews. I however have had some of the best flights with those airlines.

  • etihad? duh!

  • hi,

anyone know the next recruitmen days?i heard is on 8 april?

  • Before you take the plunge and decide this is the Airline for you I strongly recommend you talk to those who have worked for this airline as you need to get a balanced view.not the biased storyline given out.

  • before hiring they take a medical test rite??? so wat does they test???can anyone tell me abt any tests they take related to medical..?

  • I've been for 12 hours waitting in Orlando -FL and they just hire Europeans and Americans because they don't need a visa plus sexy south corean it is a plus for you, go for it .

  • two things that you will have to do is speak out, and smile.you will be put in groups and have group discussions, make sure you speak, i had no chance to speak cause this other girl kept going on and on,and not givin us the chance.she got thru you dont need a degree or experience, you just need to be over 21 and finish high school

  • does anybody here knows if emirates hires other airlines cabin crew members? cuz ive known about some airlines that doestn do it at all..

and what do i have to do to be part of the recruitment proccess?

  • Hi eisman19

Emirates does indeed hire crew coming from other airlines. In fact, your previous experience would be a valuable asset and may possibly put you ahead of other applicants.

  • no they don t

  • Hey i am in the process of applying for Emirates!!! I was just wondering if anyone had any pointers for me in terms of my application form or the Assesmnet and Open days? I really want this job and will do anything to get it!

  • Whats your major or what degree did you get in college? If you have a Degree in Hospitality you already stick out from your competitors and you are more likely to get the position. Good luck!

  • whats this music?

  • Hey are you working for emirates.. i were in their page and looking for a good airline compnay to wirk in i live in denmark but ive heard they take people from all over the world just 1 problem im 20 years 19 years ols ? s:

  • The job is great, especially if you are young and have not seen the world. Too bad the starting pay stinks.

  • EMIRATES AIR LINES OUT OF BRAZIL'S AIRSPACE OUT OF BRAZIL'S EMBASSY IN BRAZIL DUBAI COMMANDER MARCO GLAUCO SECURITY SYSTEMS DIVISION FOR AIRCRAFT

LIBERTAÇAO OF BRAZILIAN PRESOS And TORTURADOS IN DUBAI

  • I'm sorry. I work for EMIRATES and inorder for them to except you even for an interview, is if you improve you English. We give alot of imporatnce to how our staff speak English, and we even compare it next to qualifications. So you may have studied in the best South American univeristy, however if you cannot speak English extremely well, you will not get the job.

Sorry. Try improving you English though, its a great airline to work for.

  • wonderfull uniform

  • hey am i qualify if my height is only 5'6? I'm an asian guy pls responce

  • Fist, improve your english (check your spelling and grammar). We don't want air disasters!

  • Its an awesome job. You travel the world, free rent, no bills to pay...and you live in this gorgeous city of Dubai what more do you need??

  • yeah but you have to learn the language right?

  • Nope, you dont have to learn Arabic but if you learn it is a plus.

  • @MissDunhillMenthol but how much u win? how is the sallary?

  • I work for Emirates as a Cabin Crew in Dubai and I can tell you that Emirates is one of the most beautiful thing that my life has given me!!

  • hi i have a frend that wants to apply . hes goodlooking wid the hyt asand personality. but he has color deficiency??? is dat bad? is he still qualified for emirates or not? pls reply, du u know anyone who got it whose color blind. he can see colors but he cant pass the color blind test its too difficult 4 him

  • What happened to my answer?? I think you can. I am red-green deficient and im hired there with emirate. Before u go you have to fill pre-employment medicals in your home country with your doc... u have to go to an eye doc and he has to fill 3 boxes where they ask about color vision... only that... then they'll never ask about color vision again...

My doc filled: test used: 15, n. of plates tested: 10, n. of plates failed: 5...

    Good luck

  • i do want to become a flight attendant for the emirates. How do i apply and what is req?

  • I still dream of being cabin crew but its so hard to get into. Also these days I hear from other cc that the job is getn harder to enjoy...from shorter layovers to passenger getting more and more demanding....

Well anyways its still my dream!

  • whats the music?

  • it's ignorant rednecks like you that make this job more and more difficult.

  • Loser... What the fuck do you know about cabin crew training? Cabin crew can take the role of a fire fighter, a doctor etc.. in emergency. But assholes like you regard them as waitress. Ignorant bastard...

  • So true. He is an ignorant bastard-- He should get his facts right..

  • sohai..i say cabin crew is waitress any wrong...why u so concern..pilot also like taxi driver any wrong or u think work as cabin crew is more standard compare with other job..like frog under the well..sohai

  • a perfect example of an ignoramus if there ever was one.

  • Well i wouldnt say flight attendant is rocket science... You do a lot of waitressing... but you do have 1 month of intensive and stringent training, before learning how to serve customers, you have to learn how to fight fire, to shout in evacuations and follow several emergency procedures. You will be tested in a simulator (it moves, makes sounds, smoke... the whole shebang.. pretty scary) and if you fail that you cant move on to the "waitressing" part.

  • I saw this video during the open day last week. I got shortlisted and have an interview this weekend, but I'm pessimistic, why should they choose me from the 30000 applications they get every month... I'm more the quiet type.

  • Any update?

  • how did you get on?

  • Sell yourself, kid. First of all, make sure you look like a million bucks. Present yourself with confidence and kindness. Try to picture yourself on a stage, acting and playing the part of the successful candidate.

  • :) I'm training now... I dont know why the heck they chose me... but I they are recruiting about 80 persons every week (my estimation), to man their huge order of aircrafts... so maybe the numbers played in my favour.

There is not one quality that they look for when recruiting people. If you're not good looking, you can make up for it by being smily. If you dont smile, you can make up by being MODEST and smart....

Also, lots of people have some higher education or exp...

    Hoping to take vids

  • I'm happy for you. As I said, it is a great job if you can live with the pay. The world becomes your oyster, literally. I miss that part of the job terribly, but I could not live on the starting salary again.

  • Oh, also very important to send good photos... even if you have to go to 5 different photographers like i do. Best thing is to ask the recruiters for the address of a good place... and send good casual photos too.

    also act professional.

  • do you feel as a king being a pilot or what?

  • i never wanna be a cabin crew im going for emirates pilot lol

  • Good luck. Most pilots I see in the training college are 35+. They seem to hire mostly experienced pilots... So you may have to work for someone else first... but you never know... good luck.

Also when working at emirates expect to be talking with someone from a diff nationality every other minute :) There is no "majority" here, just people from all over the world.

  • cool thanks, i might work with Etihad first for 5-10 Years then move to Emirates or singapore airlines. thanks for the info

  • Aw, sorry that you feel that you are better than everyone else, Mr. Bus Driver.

  • Why do i think im better than anyone else, my dream is to become a pilot. Just because im aiming high makes me better than anyone else. think before you right next time.

  • Because your comment, "never wanna be cabin crew," smacks of arrogance and an air of superiority. If you want to be a pilot, go right ahead, but don't come to this video for cabin crew as though you were better than everyone else. Since you are "aiming high," I suggest you learn how to spell the word "write."

  • I used to be cabin crew and I aimed high as well. When I finished my experience, I earned my MBA and landed at a very prestigious financial services firm. Yet, to this day, I would never dream of making a statement like yours.

  • well, we call this people as IGNORANT.. i wonder if he's a pilot now?!

  • sastal is right! i would also request you to refresh your english grammar, before you "AIM HIGH"!...
