I barrel race and one of the biggest wrecks that almost cost my life was when i got to the third barrel and my horse tripped he flipped right on top of me . Love barrel racing even though at times its scary haha :D

racing. Her horse slipped and she got knocked unconscious luckily every single horse of hers is trained to automatically stop when a rider falls off. That's what saved her life their bond and the fact that he's trained to stop when she falls off.

My friend does it all hunter jumpers, cross-country, barrel racing. I remember two accidents that I saw with her she was doing a jumper course and the people who were working there forgot to lower one of the jumps for her class. Her horse luckily got over it but he ended up launching her out of the saddle and she hit the ground breaking I don't know how many bones. Her horse purposely dodge her and then stood like a rock until someone came and got him. The same thing happened during barrel-

you did great with this video i barrel race and i rope you come off on all events whether english or western (no i do not do western) i fallen of ffro both events. its not funny it hurts nocks wend out of you gives bruises and more. someone died out were i live from horse axident few days ago please pray for their family

My own horse is a 21 year old who used to be used for barrel racing. She's too old to compete now, obviously, but she still lights up whenever she sees the barrels set up for the pattern. She's amazing.

Barrel Racing is pure adrenaline. The feeling when they call your name and you are waiting for that horse before you to finish. Your horse hopping and not wanting to stand still. Coming from the dark alley into the bright arena to hear your friends calling your name. The victory. Even the falls make you smile sooner or later. I love Barrel Racing.

I love barrel racing. I love the feeling of butter flies in my tummy when we are in the ally way waiting for our turn. I feel so hyper and exited and ready to run! I just love it! My favorite day of my life, was when i went in my 1st barrel racing rodeo. Oh my gosh!! I loved it!! :D

I know what you mean! I just go to playdays for fun but we do small prizes and it's great when you finish a run and they call your time and say something like,"the new time to beat!!!" or something gosh running home is the best too^^ Thanks for the comment :D

I am a barrel racer and i think you should add a little spunk to the video because barrel racing isn't sad it is active with all the fans in the stands. Barrel racing is quick and fast because you want to get the best speed. So i think you should add a bit of excitement. But other wise the video had the BEST barrel racing clips i have ever seen

thats terrible barrelracer653 im so sorry I had this one horse that was given to me by a friend because she was no longer useing him. I loved that horse so much i even won a saddle on him. then I was at a rodeo and he hurt his foot. the lady who gave him to me had a daughter well the daughter took him away :( I baweled for the rest of the day and i still cry over it so i know kinda how you feel and as for the saddle i won i never have used it since

This is the nature of riding. The ups & the downs. Pure joy & heart break. If you learn to learn from your mistakes and know that they were important lessons then it is time to let yourself off the hook and go on. You can ride that saddle and enjoy it or sell it to someone who needs one. Or give it to a kid who cant afford one & is riding bareback. Peace!

i barrel race my horse but only occasionally and even when he's really ready to compete, i'm going to team pen and do reining on him. ONly some STUPID ppl JUST barrel race ALL the time. then their horses r crazy, obviously. the professionals DO NOT race their horses all the time... don't lump us all in2 that category!
