The first time I heard this version of this song I was a kid, in the shittiest dead end job. And at this job I used to stare out the window like a sad little cockney orphan hoping to god that a pack of ninjas would bust through the windows and doors and the ninjas would take off their masks and it would be the Beatles and we would ninja flip into the sunset. One day, this version came on while I was staring out said window...it was the first and last time I didn't want the ninjas to come.

This is a great cover of one of my favorite Beatles songs. Perfect harmonies and a very respectful treatment of a song that always makes me melancholy for the different women no longer in my life, and friends no longer on this earth. One of the best Beatles covers I've ever heard.

This is a nice version. However, what I like about the original is that Paul and John are harmonizing live- there is no overdubbing. This version is just a little too "polished" and doesn't have the same spirit as the original for me.
