Some things that were said are insightful, but for the most part its just eloquently spoken conspiracy theories. Emphasis on theories. I'm all for less tv, materialism and whatnot. But by the second part you realise how extreme these theories are. Besides, what's with the music in the background? I put myself a test - not to watch TV for a month, that was 6 years ago and the best move anyone could ever make. Put it this way, if you have to "think" about being able to go without a TV to live = you in the Cult and have a serious problem! Exactly. And that's why I don't own a television. Haven't done for three years now. 1) It's not worth the cost of a TV licence, 2) nor is it educational and 3) the mindless drivel that I see is depressing. Indulging in physical activity, is much more enjoyable, than sitting in front of the box to watch some crappy soap opera!!! :D,

Having said that, I am guilty of sitting in front of a computer screen watching UT vids!! :P

@Jrm4cam Many thanks for the comment, but to be honest anyone who watches this video, has their eyes opened too and that includes you too!! So now you know how to carefully assess things that are portrayed on TV/internet and make your own judgement, rather than have media moguls make it for you. Just to quote my history teacher told me years ago, "..That historians and the media release information that they only want people to know". From that day, I always assessed programs very carefully.
