@Yaqidh I don´t think it works. I was flagging similar videos (people and dogs pulling foxes and badgers out of their den and then killing them painfully). There is obvious animal cruelty, but they´re still there. Nobody gives a sh...t. :-( But I´ll keep trying, hoping I´m not alone.
Cute, but it's starting to seem like everyone on Youtube is feeding foxes in their backyards. Isn't that considered... kind of bad? I know that no one gets a hard time about feeding wild birds, but it seems like there's a different standard for predators.
@Travesty1 I don't think its that big of a deal, for foxes anyway. Their not really considered 'predators' since they'll eat anything they can find. True, they hunt, but they'll also eat vegetation, too (and apparently dog food if they can find it.) And I think if you were to stop feeding one, it'd mostly likely just move on and find food somewhere else.
aw their so cute has any one ever try 2 keep one as a pet i think they would make very good pets if you were 2 feed him and luv him and play with him he might even become a house broken animal calm and mellow
@weirdracer24 No, they never become completely tame. An experiment was done on this in Siberia which produced tame foxes only after generations of selective breeding.
Besides, you should never keep a wild animal as a pet. They're better off where they belong.
@TwilightFalls It actually depends on their personality, how they are raised, and other variables. Some people have pet foxes that are nearly 100% tame, while others may not.
Besides, the foxes that people have as pets have been raised by breeders for numerous generations, not taken from the wild (aside from orphaned pups, but they wouldn't have survived in the wild, anyway). While wild foxes shouldn't be purposely captured as pets, orphans and breeder-raised foxes are better off with humans.
i love foxes and want one as a pet :P i think their adorable, but did you take them to someone who can help them? their wild, so it was better for you not to have gave them something because it could make them think its that way anywhere else
Hehe love it, we have lots of them here too, my klittle one loves them, we used to chase them and drive after them. They woukld stop and look at us to tease us , wait so we can cath up, then run off again. :o)
wait In my comment above it says that i ran away after i shot them but i meant the group of kids ran away and i went and took the rabbit to a shelter actually my dad did cause i cant drive yet
I saved a bunny once. A group of kids were being mean to it and were planning on taping firecrackers to it and lighting them. After my brother went over there and came back and told me the story i was angry. Then i got my airsoft gun out and ran over there and the kids started to kick the rabbit to make me mad so i shot them with my airsoft and they ran away i think they thought the airsoft was fake or something thats why it didnt run away.
i saved a panda bear in the bamboo forests once. it was with the conservation expeditions best experience of my life. the bear was like choking on bamboo cos of the trap it was caught in
Feeding a wild animal will doom them to a short life.
