When the Dolls broke on the music scene in '72 they changed rock music forever; it just took a while for the rest of the world to figure it out, as is often the case (see: Velvet Underground; The Stooges; MC5; etc,).

the dolls had started in about 70-71 though, if you think about it.

as you said, its not a big issue, and not an argument. i just like the glam scene more than the punk scene, i guess thats why i say that.

the image of the dolls was fantastic, and a big influence on the great bands of the 80's, which is my fave era for glam/sleaze music. faster pussycat, hanoi rocks, motley crue. all my fave bands of the time, and bands i still listen to today, especially the really early crue and hanoi stuff.
