I was born to a muslim ,Palestinian dad and, I was raised believing Jesus was a prophet,but at the age of 40 I received Jesus as my Savior. I used to hate the jewish people because of the arab/israeli conflict. But after I fell in love with this jew ,there's no more room in my heart for other feeling than love. My dad is 80 years old,he goes to church with me sometimes and last week he went to a Christian band concert! I know that God is working in his heart and that he'll be saved!

Bottom line.....many Muslims as well as Christians and others throughout history have misintrepreted both the Koran and Bible. Both are the word of God and both refer to Jesus, but both have been twisted and used by man to attack others. Due to this, much confusion as to who Jesus is has been distorted, as well as the entire word of God (Koran and Holy Bible) in general by both Muslims, Christians and others.

There's a difference between how the word of God was translated in order to be better understood across languages verses just adding, subtracting or changing the word of God around to suit personal needs, thereby corrupting the word of God. While there are various versions of it, it is all meaning the same things, including the birth of Jesus Christ and his dying on the cross.

Newer versions of the bible have been changed around to suit personal needs. I do not follow those versions (we call these "new age" versions, where reference to bible passages/verses, etc have been changed so as to change it's original meanings. These are what to watch out for.

The true religion is Islam. We believe in ONE God like it was revealed in the Torah, Gospel. By the way, for the true bible search "Oldest Bible Found in Palestine". Bottom line.....many Muslims as well as Christians and others throughout history have misintrepreted both the Koran and Bible. Both are the word of God and both refer to Jesus, but both have been twisted and used by man to attack others. Due to this, much confusion as to who Jesus is has been distorted, as well as the entire word of God (Koran and Holy Bible) in general by both Muslims, Christians and others.

The scriptures that had been writter long before Jesus were found and put together and the prophets and disciples of Jesus continued to minister the word of God after the death of Jesus, preaching and ministering.....doing what God said these followers of Jesus should do. Mohammad also came after Jesus and many changed their minds about who Jesus is.

There's a difference between how the word of God was translated in order to be better understood across languages verses just adding, subtracting or changing the word of God around to suit personal needs, thereby corrupting the word of God. While there are various versions of it, it is all meaning the same things, including the birth of Jesus Christ and his dying on the cross.

@nasreen51 I'm saying that the King James Version isn't necessarily changed around to suit personal needs. I'm saying that that version is translated to understand the bible itself better. Newer versions of the bible have been changed around to suit personal needs. I do not follow those versions (we call these "new age" versions, where reference to bible passages/verses, etc have been changed so as to change it's original meanings. These are what to watch out for.

SILLY AND SAD are those people who pit Islam against Christianity. Islam is based on Old Testament, the Pentateuch (5 books of Torah) Jesus ministered the word of God as being devotional & Other Worldly & preached LIGHT on the Mosaic laws. Jesus ministered a New Testament. @ZaeemIslamSoldier He made the commandments because we still have to abide by his laws. We are not automatically saved simply because Jesus came and shed his blood for our sins. We still have to choose to love GOD and to accept that through Jesus blood we are saved. If we don't believe that, then we actually do have darkness. And you are right....many people and organizations have changed the word of GOD around or modified it to suit their needs..............

@ZaeemIslamSoldier I've been to churches where people say "Jesus died for me, therefore I am ok, but they don't take responsibility for their sins and think they can go ahead and break God's commandments because they are automatically saved. They take offense to anyone who says "we are all sinner, that we all fall short of the glory of God." There are new age bibles that do not reflect the word of God because they have been changed, omitted, added things to it......which God said we cannot do.

See, the way I look at it, I don't blame the Muslims. As I do believe that the prophet Muhammad is the last Prophet. Sometimes, Muslims just can't accept our Bible as Jesus came before Muhammad long time ago. They do not believe that our savior Jesus Christ is the Lord, but they do believe Jesus will come again during the end of the world, but why not the Prophet Muhammad? Sometimes, teaching Muslims about us is way too hard. But I pray PEACE between us as we are all Allah's creation.

Everyone who lives by the two main teachings of Jesus is a great christian whatever religion he follows. Love and forgiveness if adopted by all the world will surely be a better place.
