divs really don't seem to be "all that". That spry menu, you'll need to update it individually on every page, and every single page is a copy of the index file? If you could load other pages into divs, then it would be decent... Like, I'm trying to get away from framesets and iframes, but it's not really doing much for me. The DIV+CSS combo is a really nice speed boost (I'm used to notepad coding) but I just don't see the user friendlyness about it apart from design.

@jamesturg Look for the "body" tag inside your css document. When you find it try making the "margin: 0 auto;" and "padding: 0"

But when I make changes to the main page ( home page) it doesnt allow me to save using (ctrl+s), actually when I do that it gives me a small window and wants to save it as a templete. My only choice to save the changes is by clicking on "view in IE" and then it asking me if I want to save the changes and I say yes to that and then it saves it. Any idea why? thank you

In the beginning you set the background colour and added a background image. Can you do that in the css file? or does it have to be done in the html file? If you can, how would you add it to the css file? or am I just being a total noob? I want to add all the css codes into css file. when i view source i can see the css code for the bg color and image - i don't want that. Anyone? Thanks.

@mocinq Yes you can do that in CSS.

Go to the CSS and write the code with the wrapper where you have the other styles in the wrapper.

Example:

#wrapper { background-image: url (images/photo1.png;

}

This is youtube...and the glory with that is that you can always go back and view what you may have missed.
