@customlogo ok so how would someone like myself (low budget) transfer the image onto the screen without using a fancy printer like the one you have in your first video
@ezonerrdub That wasn't a printer, it was a "big light". So they printed the design in black onto a paper and applied the emulsion to the screen. then they laid the screen ontop of the printed images above the light and that "burned" the image to the screen.
@nitesamba reclaiming is the process of using a solvent to remove all the emulsion from the screen. then you would re-coat the screen with emulsion and burn for your next design.
@transformerprojetor There is a bit of ink residue on the back of my screens from printing wet on wet during the set up. I didn't print my shirt in the same order as my set up. My bad. Sorry.
Did you use any off-contact? I noticed your screens were sticking. I have an old school press and its a bitch to adjust off-contact..it doesn't even have micro.
although we use a curable reducer, none are used with these inks. These are all ultra-soft inks except for the white which is a plastisol low bleed from union ink company. All inks used in this video are plastisol.
I like your work but I have some q's what mesh count are you using? and how did you get that ink so loose I use triangle phoenix white and could never get it that way. I know youre using Union ink but does it come that loose?
What make and model printing press are you using in this video......... is this press the one that you like or do you prefer another one better.?

@JULS679
we used plastisol based ink. Union Diamond white for the underbase but usually is used as a secondary white due to puff additives.

can you re-use the screens for different images?
Gunnar445 1 year ago
@Gunnar445
yes you can, you just have to reclaim them and start the process over
CustomLogo 1 year ago
@CustomLogo what's it mean to "reclaim" them?
nitesamba 1 year ago
@nitesamba its a whole process to break them down and basically make them look like brand new screens again
