  • What he's saying, to me equates to appealing to the selfishness and obedient characteristics and tendencies of people.

    In other words, let's not change the selfish and naive aspects of humans, let's instead curb the way we educate them, based on their selfish and naive aspects.

    People rely heavily on the credibility of the people around them, to understand what is true or not. This seems to be a symptom of our evolution and I argue that it is a curable ailment and not a defining feature.
