Does anyone know whos the guy pulling his face latex off at 3:17 and what episode its from? I'm guessing thats makeup man Fred Phillips helping him:) What are his encouraging words to the actor? :) I've wondered about this clip since I first saw this reel back at the Trek conventions back in the 70s Looks like its in Mccoys sick bay lab..

I love the man's voice for Uhuru with the communicator when it cracks up both Shatner & Nimoy in the NAZI uniforms. (As I recall that episode is such a serious episode, and Nimoy was so serious as Spock in that episode -- it's a real treat to see him smile and even laugh at the voice).

I first saw the Star Trek blooper reel in the mid 70s. Considering that this was the pre-video era, it was a great treat and you could only see a blooper reel at a SF convention. When I was at Worldcon 77 in Miami, one of the dealers had a copy of the blooper reel (16mm) for sale, but we could not afford to buy it for our convention. Alas.

Its nice to see this on you tube for the younger fans to see.

anyone catch the famous outtake @ 2:30? That was Ed Reimers who was the first TV spokesman for Allstate saying "you're in good hands with tribbles" and did ads for them during the 50s & 60s. He probably passed on years ago.
