thats correct, but since a goal was scored, no advantage was gained.

if the goal was saved, correct decision would be another stroke + green card to the goalie. Though, the umpires probably would have given a 16.

I have rarely seen that ruling (that if a goalie commits a offense which PREVENTS a goal from being scored, the stroke is retaken + green card) exercised. I think umpires are worried retaking a saved stroke would seem bias (despite the fact that a stroke is awarded because a probable goal was prevented - so umpires tend to not get to carried away with the feet on the line ruling.. i've awarded another stroke in this situation and the defending team (esp. goalie) weren't to happy about it...

Looked like both teams played an open game though 3 PS is too much. I liked the effective use of the left flank; once when the French # 14 scored and then the Dutch players reverse hit.

Great game, score was unfair on france, keeper also made some bad mistakes. Hope to see TV highlights of this sometime.
