I agree. Nastia (who i think is great) isn't a hugely powerful tumbler so they highlighted her best points. the flexibity and her lean lines. it's beautiful.
Go watch Svetlana Khorkina, Svetlana Boginskaya, Henrietta Onodi, Olga Strazheva, Stella Umeh, Yelena Davydova, Natalia Shaposhnikova, Ksenia Semenova, then come back and say that this is the best choreography.
Also, is there any specific name for the move she does if you pause it right around 3:49? In ballet it could almost be called an attitude derriere but... does anybody know??? Thanks! I love Nastia!
well, if she was holding her leg in a one leg balance then i think it would be called a scorpion, but otherwise, no it's just part off her choreography
This was a great montage! I love this song and Nastia! But I felt bad about the mistake at the end of her floor routine :( But she is still the Olympic Gold Medalist!!!
Very nice job on the montage. It's a shame Nastia didn't have a very good nationals and i think her ankle injury is partially a cause of it but she's still an amazing gymnast and she's one of my heroes as well as Shawn Johnson.

You can really see how much she struggled in 2007 with her snkle injury. But she really made a comeback in 2008.

I don't know if it has a name... I think it's just part of her dance, but I may be wrong.

I don't think it has a specific name but it does look like an attitude derriere or a bielman in figure skating, except she isn't holding her leg up.
