  • I work Howletts during the summer and that guy does it all the time. Someone complained to me that he got them in the eye. If I was around that area of the park I would always try to warn people if they got to close to him

  • We went there today and met a friend who works with the gorillas. He told us this particular one throws sticks at visitors all the time and thinks it's hilarious!

  • lol The big silverback did that when we were there yesterday. Shame I didn't get it on film :(

  • Both Mr Aspinall's wildlife parks have experienced a number of accidents in recent years. Three years ago he went to the High Court to stop Canterbury city council preventing staff entering enclosures in which tigers roamed freely at Howletts zoo, his other wildlife park, after a keeper was killed. The keeper was mauled to death in 1994 by a Siberian tiger. Visitors saw the animal pick up Trevor Smith, 32, by the neck and head and carry him in its mouth to a shed in the compound

  • and your point is?

  • In other ocasion a gorila rip off the arm of a woman but as you can see the visitors are still to close to the cages

  • lol thats bull no1 has ever had there armed riped off by a gorilla at howletts and no one saw that tiger carry trevor smith into a shed. what have you got against thos 2 parks anyway. noone told the keepers to go in with the tigers.

  • =P We had this done to us yesterday. Except we managed to play around with the gorilla.

    Brilliant day out eitherway
