Englishness is gift given to those born in England.
An Englishman uses his (or her) Englishness in defence of the weak & to vanquish of foes of the realm.
To be English is to have thousands of years of heritage & provenance on which to gauge oneself, one's actions & the deeds of others.
My Dear un-informed chap, Englishness should be the goal of every Gentleman.
