so are there actual quests in gw2 or is it all dynamic events. i understand they say that dynamic events will be a core part of pve gameplay, but will there be one time play through quests?

@Zerox495: good question... no one really knows TBH. PvP has been hidden from us. But we have been told by Izzy that there will be info comming out soon.

Is there a definite release date?? at the game-stop website, it says that Gw2 ships November 2nd 2010 but on other websites it says it releases November 2nd 2011... Anyone have any ideas?

@iThisKid Those stores need to have a release date, so they just put down what they think is the release date. There is no official release date.

@iThisKid: place holder means a random date they stick on a game just so the business can get the ball rolling and make money sooner then later. More hype, more money sooner. Nothing but fluff.

And besides... if you are going to buy the game... unless you want collector pins and stuff... buy it from NCSoft Store, on through the in-game store online. That way all the money goes to ANET/NCSoft and not the other retail stores. Unless you can save 50% like on Steam, then its saving you money
