This balancing of the eggs can be done any day of the year...not just on the equinox. Try it tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after. It still works.

I have never heard of doing this anytime....but thanks for the information...I will try it at other times...and when I think about it...I did about a week ago when I was thinking of doing a video on it and it wouldn't work.

I've never heard of this Vernal Equinox egg balancing theory until today. I was too impatient to take the time to balance 2 eggs, but my husband also tried his hand at it and manged one egg.

While I was busy uploading the egg videos, I heard the sound of an egg falling on the floor. Seems my husband dropped an egg. It must have broken because I heard a couple naughty words. Then he walked into the kitchen where we keep the trash basket. I don't think he realizes I know what happened =)

Oh my gosh! I got 5 out of 12 to stand and that was many hours after the exact time. This was wonderful -- I'd never heard of it before.
