  • Don't go to utm

  • @liv02 ..why not :S

  • great campus! only for the smartasses who are damn determined!

  • I'm graduating this June. I'm institutionalized. It's scary to think about moving on after having been here for five years.

  • @topgunzurhero I hear you! I felt the same way last year when I graduated. But now I'm in the work force with a full time job and I'm really enjoying it (I'm not working in the field I got my HBA in though lol)

  • does this school have a variety of ethnic backgrounds?

  • @mizzstar21 yes - utm defines the word diversity by itself

  • wat mark do u have to get in high school to go to UTM in the life sciences program

  • @thecobra9999 80% is the minimum cut off but it is generally better to be above that percentage. Good Luck!

  • @morgie39

thanks man. Im in grade 11 and my average rite now is close to 90%

  • @thecobra9999 you're golden then! Keep it up next year and you'll be accepted :)

  • @morgie39

    thanks

  • @morgie39 ...calculus and vectors is not a prerequisite, so m not taking it..but do you think i should for next semester, or can i survive next year (my first year) without it..?

  • @khashya786786 What are you majoring in? Calc was a prereq when I attended UTM and it is a horrible class. <- very hard. Don't take 5 courses while you are taking calc because the class is easily the amount of work of two courses. If you are prepared to spend a lot of time on the course, you will do well.

  • @morgie39 ..thx for answering..i'm majoring in biology....and also i thought you are not allowed to take less than 5 classes or you are considered a part time student, and this effects osap..?

  • Ive been here for five years, and I'm finally graduating. This summer I've taken my final two classes of my Undergraduate and I really will miss this school. All of the memories, the people and the atmosphere. It's been a pleasure UTM.

  • @commerce19 Here, Here! I just graduated in June and I miss the place already. So many great memories there, it's really sad to leave.

  • @morgie39 Congratulations Morgie39 (sorry I don't know your name, obviously). It was great times. What did you major in? Were you involved in any of the clubs at UTM?

  • fuck utm fuck utm fuck utm it ruined my whole fucking life i swear to god. FUCK YOU UTM AND FUCK YOU EVERYONE

  • why

  • @martin13mnm FUCK YOU TOO IF YOU"VE BEEN THERE. FUCK UUTMMMMMMM FUCK ITTTTT

  • fuck UTM im glad its over. FUCK YOU MOTHER FUCKERS

  • @paidtowatchvideos

    woot woot!

  • Cant wait to join UTM this September :)

  • @phirbdilhaipakistani prepare to be FUCKED IN THE ASS

  • Which building has more washrooms than lecture halls? Kaneff?

  • how is utm for business administration?

  • So are there 2 major buildings at UTM? If you were taking social sciences courses where do you go?

  • The courses tend to vary in location depending on what year the course is. 1st and 2nd year courses have a larger number of students than do 3rd and 4th year courses. The bigger classes are in South and CCT (and sometimes Kaneff) while the smaller classes are mainly in North building. The campus isn't very hard to get around though.

  • @saleha250 The social science rejects get a special pillow-padded gym with tables and crayons for their ambitious "programs".

  • Im supposed to reply to UTM about my acceptance there today, your video just gave me a much better idea of where i would be going, looks like an awesome campus, thanks alot.

  • Wow, that's really cool :) UTM has a great campus and a lot of really good professors. The smaller class size is also a benefit to attending this campus. I've spent four years here (doing a victory lap next year) and I'm really going to miss it when I'm gone.

Hope to see you here next year! :)

  • I hope for your sake you are not doing life sciences at UTM. If so, let me offer my sincere condolences.

  • how come? whats wrong with life sciences at UTM?

  • 1) 1st year lecturers for biology are for the most part either a) disinterested in student's succes b) totally incompetent or c) disorganized

    2) In upper years, T.A's who dont event have Phd's teach classes. I have seen some who cannot explain basic genetic crosses.

    3) Overall, a limited number of courses to choose from compared to UTSG that give you much less background then supposed UTSG "exclusions".

    4) In general (there are exceptions), marking is unreasonably harsh.

  • Oh, and I forgot to mention the worst one of all :

UTM has money for cool library and gym buildings, but there is not enough equipment to go around in teaching labs. It is common to see 4 students setting up a gel for electrophoresis or other important experiments. Usually, 1 does the setup, the other 3 just watch and dont learn what the lab skills which are going to be VERY VERY important in grad school.

  • a romantic campus

  • This is a nice tribute to UTM....too bad you don't have any pictures prior to all the development. I attended UTM when there was just the three buidings: North, South and Crossroads (now the student centre). I also like the music you chose. It reminded me of back in 1997 when I was in my first year and titanic was a hit. Thanks for the memories!

  • CCIT: Pretty on the outside, horrid on the inside

  • Totally agree with you on that one.

  • Its funny to see how cold and sterile looking the interior of the buildings are compared with the many pretty trees outside.

  • Strange - never thought about it - but even a prisoner can miss his golden cell - good times - bad times

  • i hate the fucking school

  • really? why?
