Ah I already miss this game... When snipers could actually be snipers. BF3 RUINED sniping by making the weapons not scaled to the maps 180 meters and my bullet drops massively and doesn't one hit on hardcore? I guess they wanted all the weapons to be the same range, which makes sniping pointless and the M249 a BEAST.

I would pay $59.99 + tax to have all of the BF3 maps ported in to BC2, hell I'm not even asking for the guns and vehicles I just want the maps; they can be replace by the BC2 vehicles in their place.

BC2 is so much better than BF3- the mechanics are so much more solid and the environments are way more destructible in BC2, plus the vehicles feel like they have weight to them in BC2. Also the guns, sounds and maps are much better design.

BTW everyone is now playing BF3 so it's not the same going back when all of your clan is no longer playing with you.

@LevelArtist Uhm, yes, because map=/=the game. Good maps are important for an enjoyable experience, but it doesn't matter how good the maps are if the game is crap, and I'm sorry, but compared to proper BF games like BF2, 1942, and BF3, BC2 was utter shit.

Absolutely HORRIBLE hit registration, lack of variation, choppers were merely useless, small maps, 32 players. A mediocre console port really. If you're a console player, I can see why you prefer BC2, but BF is just not meant for consoles.

@simmo93 Better hit registration than for example BF3, or BF2. More variation than most BF:s. As big maps as BF3, and arguably the most balanced sizes. Choppers were good fun, love the jets in BF3 so vehiclewise BF3 is better, but the choppers were hardly useless. It does not matter that there are fewer players since the maps are smaller and more balanced than earlier games. As for whether or not BF is meant for XBOX, maybe you tried it and sucked. Jet is only truly playable on console.

@algrand1 Hit registration is not good in BF3, I agree, but nothing's worse than BC2. Remember how you would always end up in duels where both die at the same time? BC2: Rush and Conquest. BF2: Many different types on Conquest, Asssault, Head-on, Double Assault, MANY different ways to play the map, you could chose to go lone wolf as an aggressive sniper, cap bases with a squad, fly a jet, team up with a mate in a chopper, or a jet for that matter, the possibilities were endless, and the maps

@algrand1 had lots of variation. Choppers weren't useless in BC2, but underpowered, especially considering how small the maps were. I mean, a rocket vs a heli was OHK, and one of them could be guided(!), a M95 sniper shot hit a chopper for 10% HP. They were NOT balanced at all, and not to mention how the controls were retarded with lots of autopiloting. And jets being unplayable on PC is just BS, a mouse is always more accurate than joysticks, and if you do want JS, you can just plug it in.

Why Comfortably Numb? The song is about a doctor trying to make the album's main character, Pink, go to the stage, to do a show, after he was found unconscious in his hotel room. The chorus is Pink's thoughts, remembering his childhood. I would have chosen "Goodbye blue sky", but good job anyways! :D
