I was making fun of the fact that most people that talk shit on against me now are like 16 year olds who think anarchy means burning buildings and living in chaos. I also know what real anarchism is and stand my by original statement. It would never work. The absence of a political authority is impossible. Most people need a leader. Of course there are exceptions. But a world where everyone made there own rules would be a dark, bad place.

@SpiderShane1 walk down the street and ask people if they want to work everything out themselves. ask them if they want to get together with everyone in their community every time a road needs to be built so they can talk about it. and since there is no money system, ask them if they are willing to volunteer their time whenever something else needs to be built. ask people to gather the materials needed to build those things for free. see how that goes. thats why we need leaders.......

If that's honestly what you think anarchism is, you're very uninformed. Saying that anarchism is nothing more than a "Fuck it" attitude is inaccurate. It would be akin to saying that Karl Marx loved the idea of private property. The means of production is controlled in part by the state, they're closer than you'd think. Communism as a party rhetoric probably closer resembles fascism than anarchy. However, certain branches of marxist thought which are obviously communist due factor in perfectly in the economic side of anarchy.

Selling out is something I generally don't care about at all. I DO, however, care when a band supports their anarchistic views and that was one of their defining characteristics. I stop listening to them for a year and they're doing Rock The Vote campaigns on MTV though? That's more than just selling out. That's just shitting on your fans.

I also know what real anarchism is and stand my by original statement. It would never work. The absence of a political authority is impossible. Most people need a leader. Of course there are exceptions. But a world where everyone made there own rules would be a dark, bad place.

If they've moved on from their anarchist phase, fine, but they use their old songs for most of their set because all their new shit sucks too much to play live. The means of production is controlled in part by the state, they're closer than you'd think. Communism as a party rhetoric probably closer resembles fascism than anarchy. However, certain branches of marxist thought which are obviously communist due factor in perfectly in the economic side of anarchy.

Selling out is something I generally don't care about at all. I DO, however, care when a band supports their anarchistic views and that was one of their defining characteristics. I stop listening to them for a year and they're doing Rock The Vote campaigns on MTV though? That's more than just selling out. That's just shitting on your fans.

@Klonny if the majority of our youth wasnt so fuckin ignorant and apathetic to the state of our society we would be taking bigger steps towards improvement in the future. and considering the sad fact that watching mtv is one of the only things that our apathetic youth generally has in common, i dont think this band can be penalized for "selling out" when they take the opportunity to just maaybe get some confused young people involved in where our country (America) is going politically
