The only reason why you wouldn't be able to see it when they smile is if A) Their lips are too big, or B) They put in a straight barbell, instead of a curved barbell or ring which would hang down low enough to be seen

@kayce9211 why do people get cunt and nip piercings? or wear cute underwear at times when they know it won't get seen? some people don't get piercings for the benefit of other people. and it has a nice peek-a-boo factor when you DO actually flash it off. Plus it's good for employers who don't appreciate face metal.
