  • George Harrison was so fine, with his thick wavy hair and beautiful body. He could wear outre clothes and make it work.

    Boy, that Beatle was fine!

  • Believe it or not, I saw the show the night it aired in 1968.

Love the Beatles (specifically George) then, and love them now.

Where has the time gone? :-(

  • @Garryis60

I was born on a Sunday. Not just any Sunday. It was 1-6-1957. that was the day Elvis was shown fron the waist up only on ED Sullivan B/C of the sexual inuendo. OK, wait where is the rest of this song?

  • @MrAngemystere Vous!

  • He is so GORGEOUS! <3

  • The pants. The hair. The shirt. The jacket. MY OVARIESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • scratch tht comment im on my phone nd it does tht all the time. wat i meant was, omg George looks so cute in this but hes acting nervous but idc hes my Georgie :)

  • hahaha

  • George's music will live forever in my heart. He was a great guitarist, singer, and composer. He had a wonderful sense of humor and his spirit lives on. His impact upon music is undeniable.

  • Those pants suit him very well ;)

  • George Harrison is beautiful here. No Homo.

  • Joj<3

  • I want to smell him. O_O

  • Georgie rockin' the pirate shirt years before Seinfeld.

  • @thegrinchl7 I have never sworn on YT but FUCK YOU, the man had spiriutuatly which brought him money, so should he have ignored the money ? it came w/the game, to think he was not sincere because he had money is hell, a simpleton...btw...to come here and say that, ya know what...go somewhere else

  • @thegrinchl7 It's funny seeing you play the same old game on all the George videos. You must be one jealous mother fucker.

  • @thegrinchl7 He was a hypocrite, if he didn't like ''living in the material world'' as he put it, why didn't he give scads of money away to worthy causes, and live a simpler lifestyle? But, he was not a MINOR Beatle. He was overshadowed by John and Paul, and never really given the chance to do much in the Beatles. But "Something" and a few other songs he did on later Beatle albums were beautiful. And "All Things Must Pass'' his best work yet. Paul did the fluff music with Wings.

  • @bloderme - You understand that "All Things Must Pass"

is a collection of all of George's songs that the Beatles had

rejected? He had 10 years to polish and rework 30 songs

and dump them all into one album. It's likely anyone would

get 2 or 3 hits out of such a work. The biggest "hit" on the

album turned out to be PLAGIARIZED! Also working in its

favor were millions of fans now deprived of new Beatle music.

They lapped it. But they would've lapped it up no matter what!

  • the only man who can pull off that snazzy outfit =3

  • The soon as he walked out I got a HUGE smile on my face.

My face hurts from grinning like an idiot XD

    Love ya, George

    <3

  • @thegrinchl7 I see, that´s an interesting point. But about cultivating status, it´s kind of exaggeration thinking he would turn hare krishna and be so envolved in indian culture just for be known by 'spiritual beatle'. May he wasn´t this pretty good and peaceful man, but may he wasn't this made-up celebrity.

  • oh my god, illegal amounts of excessive sexiness!

  • Arguments.

  • @thegrinchl7 I understand you, man. Many artists are called geniuses, and usually they are not really geniused at all. I mean, George wasn´t this versatile. But you can´t offend him like he pretended to have this skills and this genius status, because he didn´t do it. The only ones who pretend this, are the stupid fans.

And about hypocrisy, George had a mansion but donated a lot. Complain about poverty doesn´t mean turn a fransciscan father.

  • @viniciusfrahm - I don't think George is completely innocent.

Much of his charity was the work of his accountant. George

hated the kind of taxes he was paying. It's counterintuitive but

sometimes people in this category of extreme wealth can KEEP

more their money by actually GIVING some of it away. Eric

Clapton does this, Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation does it.

George is not quite as generous as you think. He also helped

cultivate his own image as the "spiritual" Beatle

  • @thegrinchl7 Shove it.

  • FrightWolf, ArgentinaExpel4Fraud, TwoUselessLegs, thegrinch7, CubanCheGuevara - ONE 'person', multiple accounts. Master troll, obsessive hater, fucking twit.

  • @gietek You got that right mate.

  • George Harrison was sued by his neighbors for shutting access to the coast. FACT. George felt that he was entitled to his kingly privacy because he was, after all, an ex Beatle. Never mind that many of these Hawaiians not only didn't know WHO he was, they didn't CARE who he was. Now if John Lennon or Paul McCartney demanded privacy...THAT WOULD MAKE SENSE. Who the hell would want to look at George?

  • @ArgentineExpel4Fraud you're right i'd want to do MORE than just look at George, if you know what i mean ;)

  • @Purplezeppelinfloyd - ??? Um....no, I don't know what you mean. And I don't do "smiley" faces. Ugh....why does George Harrison attract such an awkward fan base?

  • @ArgentineExpel4Fraud No you obviously don't know what she means. You have never had sex yourself, that's very obvious. And no, you don't do "smiley" faces because all you can do is moan, hate, ridicule, troll and get angry. Instead doing "smiley" faces you post THE SAME shit everywhere on YT. About George attracting strange fan base - that's one of them. I've seen it too many times. Please die.

  • For the naysayers about George (and those who respect him, too), search for an article in the Honolulu star bulletin from November 30, 2001, which quotes neighbors and locals, regarding what sort of man he was.

Text by Paul Theroux/Photography by David Matheson

    Published August 2007

“He used to go around the island, nicking plants for our garden. He’d even take big trees and replant them. He said, ‘I want it to be a jungle.’ ”

  • “He used to go around the island, nicking plants for our garden. He’d even take big trees and replant them. He said, ‘I want it to be a jungle.’ ”

  • If you had people trying to get at you all the time, and couldn't even play concerts anymore because of all the teenagers screaming, you'd want some land in Hawaii, too. If you'd been stabbed multiple times in your own home, you'd want a few acres around you for security, too.

  • POOR GEORGE! Always the awkward Beatle! Always making the wrong choices. Look at how nervous he is here! You know, when you can't get John or Paul...THIS is who they send! His new (only) documentary skipped theaters and went straight to cable TV! Scorcese had hoped to elevate George's profile but instead confirmed what we already knew: George is a footnote in music history.

  • @CubanCheGuevara you george harrison haters all use the same fucking comment about how his documentary skipped theaters. you, frightwolf, twouselesslegs. i mean just shut up already. it was supossed to be for tv anyway. it was for HBO! A tv station. it wasn't for theaters in the first place. you and all the other george haters just sound like robots now. We all know you cant play shit on guitar s anyway so just go die in a hole.

  • @mrbeng111 - HBO produces many theatrical releases.

The only exceptions are the "bad" ones or those WITH-

OUT wide appeal. Only later do they present them on TV.

Considering this was a Martin Scorsese film about the life

of a Beatle this was an astonishing rejection of both film

maker and subject. A four hour documentary would be

difficult to understand about almost ANYONE, let alone

the junior member of the band. Scorsese has accidently

confirmed George's universal lack of appeal.

  • @CubanCheGuevara Do you also "thumb up" your own comments? Is that the purpose of your other accounts? To be able to "like" your own bullshit so others think that there are actually some people who agree with you? Bad news - you're the ONLY ONE. And by the way most of us already know what kind of vermin you are.

Also why did you remove your comment where you admitted everything? That was truly the only time when you were honest.

  • @CubanCheGuevara and you're an absolute nobody

  • @CubanCheGuevara - George Harrison is with the Lord Jesus Christ, Yes he became a christian at the end of his life, look it up in the biography of the beatles by Bob Spitz.

But as for you where are you going, maybe you should think about that instead of judging and hating upon this beautiful man.

And George Harrison was not nervous here, he was a gentleman and very sweet.

    You make yourself look bad

  • When TV shows CAN'T GET A REAL BEATLE, George is the one that shows up.

  • @thegrinchl7 - Your an IDIOT!!!!

  • We can not say anything important on American Television.....not only television, internet too. Only stupid things. Everything is controlled. Eric Fromm. Smart people might be killed by the mental individuals. How convenient.

  • I wish I was alive when this show originally aired! What a show!

  • Donovan and George? What a episode that was.

  • The documentary by Martin Scorose was really good and was put together for HBO...and to be honest I knew nothing of George before this and learned he is a facinating individual,, he makes you want to live life to the fullest and leave your mark on the world no matter how small or how few are impacted, it is still a mark..Love one another...he was a preacher through song who searched for God in life as we all do, so he could be closer to him in death...RIP

  • @DrunkiNBuddha13 - George was a "preacher"?

George lived in a 120-room exotic mansion. George

SMOKED HIMSELF TO DEATH. George was sued

for PLAGIARISM (look it up). George bulldozed 100s

of environmentally sensitive trees to build his 2nd

massive estate in Hawaii (I guess the 120 room Friar

Park wasn't big enough?). George savaged his friends

and band mates (SEE "GEORGE HARRISON TALKS

ABOUT PAUL MCCARTNEY). If he was a "preacher"

he certainly was a peculiar one!

  • @thegrinchl7 I don't see him as a preacher, but I like him. He was a spiritual, loving man, I think. He thought Hawaii was beautiful, therefor he bought land there and built there. He seemed upset he didn't get much say in The Beatles. He grew up in an age where smoking was encouraged. And he was charged for plagiarism because the tune of "My Sweet Lord" resembled another popular song. Don't make him sound horrible by not stating details, especially when he isn't even here to defend himself.

  • @LoquaciousInkSlinger - His Hawaiian neighbors sued

him in court for shutting down miles of coastline. George

felt he was entitled to "privacy" even though the beach

didn't belong to him. Some of these Hawaiian families had

lived there for centuries and didn't even KNOW who George

Harrison was. George made his own bed, good and bad. I

promise to back off the criticism of George Harrison if people

like YOU stop making him out to be some kind of "saint". He

    was a severely flawed man.

  • @thegrinchl7 SO THE FUCK ARE YOU. IF ANYTHING, YOUR MORE FLAWED THAN ANYONE! SHUT THE FFFFUUUUCCCKKKKK UP!

  • @thegrinchl7 I never said George Harrison was a saint. And who are you to judge if he was severely flawed? You didn't know him, did you? I didn't know George Harrison, but I like most of what I do know about George Harrison. I'm not going to judge an entire man's character just because he shut down miles of Hawaii's coastline. I don't know what he was having to deal with concerning his privacy in Hawaii. Let's just leave it at that and accept him for who he was.

  • @thegrinchl7 And who are you to judge him? Huh? And people don't make all the other celebrities on other videos out to be saints?

Give me a break, Your just bent on hating George Harrison because your evil.

And who are you that anyone should do anything because you say so.

Your severeley sick in your soul.

  • @kajehgb - George built his career on the backs

of his older, more talented band mates. If he had

any talent at all it was that he hitched his wagon to

their rising star. Without that, you and I wouldn't be

here talking. Of course other celebrities suffer from

weaknesses. George's problem is one of HYPOCRISY.

Even that might've been OK had George been a

bone fide musical "genius". We always give our geniuses

latitude (John Lennon). However, George was no "genius".

  • Lies Lies, that's all you speak, just shut up, no one cares about your lying mouth.

And i could of looked at george all day long, he was georgous along with millions of other women.

What makes you think john lennon was a genius?

  • @kajehgb - You cannot defend George by claiming

he is "gorgeous". We are speaking of his place in

musical history and the subsequent dispute over his

personality problems. That is to say (and these are

facts...not my opinions: George preached health...but

he SMOKED CIGARETTES. He even DIED of smoking.

He lectured against MATERIALISM while he lived in a

120-room mansion. If George's music was so great, why

did his new (only) documentary skip theaters and go

    straight to cable TV?

  • @thegrinchl7 - You are the one who has a personality problem, you are obessesed with hating a beautiful person, who you did not even know and know nothing about.

George Harrison did not die of smoking, he died of cancer and that cancer could of come from other things other than smoking, obviousley.

But nothing anyone says is going to change you as you are bent on hating him no matter what.I loved George Harrison along with millions so please stop bullying him on these videos.

  • @thegrinchl7 - In all seriousness your answer is JESUS CHRIST.

He is the only one and the greatest one who can help you, with anything.

  • @kajehgb - Jesus Christ? Isn't he that guy that shows up on tortillas every once in a while?

  • @thegrinchl7 -No He'a the ONE who suffered a agonizing, horrible death in your place on the cross and payed your sin debt in full on the cross and died and roses again on the 3rd day for you..

He who believes has Eternal Life and and will not be condemned.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.

  • @thegrinchl7 According to this reasoning of yours, Justin Bieber have to be a musical genius, because his documentary spend several weeks in theaters.

  • @dandinofat - Well, that's my point. Even Justin Beiber

got a theatrical release. What does that say about George?

We both know George has an audience. It's just too small.

However, I think it's interesting how we're always given a

reason to buy Beatle music ALL OVER AGAIN. Magazines,

HBO and radio all get in on the feeding frenzy! For years

George couldn't attract flies. Suddenly he's a "genius"?

Watch, 10 years from now we'll suddenly discover that

    RINGO is a genius too!

  • @thegrinchl7 in fact, it was hardly plagiarism. he had no intent of copying "He's So Fine" by the Chiffons. ALOT OF MUSIC SOUNDS THE SAME, DOES THAT MEAN ITS PLAGIARISM? He himself did not have to pay any money

  • @thegrinchl7 - LIAR!!!

What kind of a sicko spends his whole day mocking and condemning a man who is dead!

Your nothing but a Big liar and hater who can only make yourself feel good by tearing down successfull beautiful people like George Harrison.

The same way that you judge others, you will be judged one day and with the same measure you give, you will get back.

Judge not, lest you be judged!

  • POOR GEORGE! The new documentary on his life

skipped theaters entirely and went straight to cable

TV. His wife Olivia spoke of him respectfully but one

didn't get the feeling she was IN LOVE with him. She

sounded more like a secretary or some affectionate

neighbor. If we didn't feel sorry for him before, we

    can start now!

  • damn George,you're the sexiest! <3 *____* love you <3

  • George's hair... so soft... so shiny... I wanna touch it...

  • @xXjesusofsuburbia7Xx I wanna touch all of him

  • I saw this live and it was a total surprise George being there.

  • i want that outfit!!!

  • I love em' :)

  • RAWR. ;D

  • He was too cute.

  • This was on the E channel, dang, wonder if it is still on somewhere on that channel.

  • I see what Leggy Mountbatten meant about the trousers.

  • damn,George is fine ; )

  • George is a fucking STUD !

  • this is from when there was no difference between the beatles and christ to a generation of baby boomer cunts

  • @flakbac The Beatles were and still are a historical reality, as opposed to the myth of your so-called messiah. Piss off.

  • Ah, George. Still had The Beatles thing down pat, and he and the other 3 only knew how to do that and... yeah make glorious music. Everything was dissolving then.

  • Still getting the squeals in '68.

  • Groooooooooovy threads George!!!!

  • The important thing is, even though they block truth, KEEP TRYING TO SAY IT!!! Go George!!

Charlie Veitch sell-out, look and LEARN

  • George was so beautiful inside and out. My heart still skips a beat even after all these years ..........que to screams NOW!!!

  • George is wearing ultra cool clothes, but what the FUCK are the smothers brothers wearing. I'd say they look gay as fuck.

  • I miss George! :(

  • those pants.

    those green pants.

    I want them.

    :3

  • and i must agreed with that...

  • Okay, I'm slow, I didn't get what he was doing there... He blinded me with cuteness. He was being himself... messing with the TV folks, smirking at their attempts to hush Tommy up, not in the least afraid of making anyone mad (of course not, it wasn't his show lol).

  • You gotta be pretty cute to get away with an outfit like that! Definitely the cutest Beatle... if only because he could play the ukelele.

  • Both John & Paul were amazed at the talent of George Harrison even at age 14, he was an excellent guitar player & was asked to join their band,The Quarrymen even though he was so young.

  • i love the part at the end when George was like "Cue the claps.....NOW!" *clap clap clap clap clap!*

  • George was in the U.S. visiting some friends (Bob Dylan, Delaney and Bonnie, etc.) and became aware of the Smothers' censorship battle. So he decided to go to LA and make a surprise cameo appearance on their show to give moral support to Tom and Dick in their battle with network censors.

  • He looks so sexy with long hair...

I know I'm not exactly on topic of the video, but I just had to say that.

  • that was so funny. that one guy went off on a tangent about american media and the other host gave him the cue to shut up and george harrison told the original man in secret on air, in front of everyone that he knew what he was talking about regarding american media. then the cue cards proceeded to say clap clap clap so the audience wouldn't notice

  • CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHAT GEORGE SAYS AFTER "CLAP CLAP CLAP"? PLEEEASEE!! :)

  • And Brian Epstein would not allow them to speak out on the war or politics in general. So after he died they spoke their minds.

  • Early attempt, successful at that, of political comic-tary.

  • awww George <3

  • George Harrison was such a sexpot.

  • I agree!!

  • Oh my lord. I love that man.

  • No one can make green pants and an orange tie so sexy more than he can.

  • "cue the clap now" lol

  • I can't believe he upstaged the Smothers Brothers in their own show! Only George could do that!

  • If only George had kicked the cigs early on. We might well still have him, and he would have his life. It's cryingly sad to think about George being gone. Too.

  • QueenieG7 and baseballgirl couldn't be more spot-on. Unbelievably beautiful man, inside and out. We've missed you for ten years, George, and I don't think we'll stop anytime soon.

  • HELP!

  • Thanks for posting this great memory.

With Beatles in mind, I've posted the video, "40 years in 3 minutes", which is a music video containing the Beatles' rooftop performance, historical events over the last 40 years and 8mm film antics from the period, all cut tightly to GET BACK and GLASS ONION. Hope you enjoy!

  • This is cool I never saw this before

  • @meglaw69 Same here!

  • I want to get into biological engineering just so I can clone George and marry him.

  • @baseballgirl25 Have you seen his son, Dhani? Not a clone exactly, but a very strong resemblence...adorable, adorable guy, best looking of all the Beatles' sons.

  • @moonlily1 I have seen Dhani! He's quite cute. I really like his music, too. And it's kind of scary how much he looks like George. It must kind of stink for him, though, seeing as it would be impossible not to know they're related. Always being compared to his dad must be a little frustrating.

  • @baseballgirl25 I actually like Dhani better than his father, though that may be a minority opinion. I think he seems a bit more well-adjusted with his father's legacy than, say, the lennon sons, but of course that's because George was a great dad.

  • @moonlily1 I like Dhani quite a bit, too. I loved The Fistful of Mercy album and what I've heard of thenewno2. But no one can surpass George for me. He's only, like, the coolest. =)

  • Love the tight pants! thanks! ;)j

  • swear to god he's the most beautiful man i've ever seen

  • did u hear those screams? OMG! George was beautiful then. Orgasmic candy 4 the eyes. But it's hard 2 believe he died @ 58. My mom died @ age 57 going on 58. It's too young & seems unfair but G was ready to let go after dealing w/ cancer 4 so long. John was taken from us quite unexpectedly. Both deaths however different, still HURT after all this time & that's the point. We loved them & we miss them. There's no comparison in which Beatle u love best; u should love all 4 b/c they loved each other.

  • "keep trying to say it" @2:16 thats important George... RIP

  • He was a good soul

  • He was cute!!!!

  • Oh god. Georgie's green-striped pants. :D

  • nowadays girls go crazy like that for Lil Wayne

  • check out some early beatles video(Ed Sullivan's a good start) George's chord structure, hand positioning and fill's are just remarkable! Born to play!!!!!! And still playing(beautiful harps!)

  • jennifer warren, a great new singer.....

  • i love his outfit!

  • I love his accent!

  • I wonder what was the something important about that George had to say anyway?

  • Comment removed

  • the smothers brothers spoke against the vietnam was on their show...young people loved them for it....

today you dont see young tv or film stars talking against these phony fraud wars...that have bankrupted america

todays young people are losers...vietnam war would have gone on for decades these days....

  • @ChiroQuacker Loved the Smother's Brothers!! I think they cancelled them because they were too politically controversial. Wonder what happened to them; however, they did pave the way for SNL!! :)

  • @ChiroQuacker im pretty sure Viet Nam went on from 64 til 75

something like 3 or 4 presidents

  • @ChiroQuacker Not all of us are losers! some of us do try to speak out, but the majority would look at us and say something like "you gay hippies"

  • @ChiroQuacker The casualty count was much higher during Vietnam. The casualty count for Iraq and Afghanistan are low by comparison. And there is no draft. I would advise you not to fall into the old man's trap of blaming young people for the world's ills but it's apparently too late.

  • @shatchett0

hey pal..why do you think the economy is in the toilet and why they are cutting programs etc cross the board?

cause they have been pouring trillions of dollars into the hands of war profiteering contractors since 9/11/01...and your elected officials work for them...not you or the masses

so they got smart....no draft...give the kids cell phones, internet, video games and they are as docile as patients in a psych ward

and the wars will go on forever or as dick cheney said DECADES!

  • @ChiroQuacker Yor are right on point with your comment here. I am 60 now and feel a great sense of frustration with today's so-called youth. All they care about is the next buck they can make. It is sad that so many lives were lost in all these useless wars.

  • @ChiroQuacker I've got news for you: The Vietnam war went on for almost two decades.

  • @arendr

try a decade....i am counting from when lbj escalated troop deployment shortly after they got jfk out of the way...

if it was today and they had started vietnam with bush cheney and then rubber stamp obama...then vietnam would have gone on for decades and decades and decades....

give all tax dollars to the military war profiteering contractors and the pentagon..

those crooks take my tax dollars and pay 300 dollars for a hammer i pay a buck for at the dollar store

    u dumb fuck

  • @ChiroQuacker

Fuck you for saying todays young people are losers.

  • oh ya.............

  • clap clap clap clap clap LOL

  • @thegrinchl7

I'm going to disagree with you there. Listen to George in early interviews. He often is the one saying the funniest things. And it's not the same humor as John's either. And even if their was similarities, if you hang out with someone every day, they rub off on you.

  • @clockworkfiction3 -Yes. When younger, George

displayed a sharp wit. Not sure what happened to

him later. Again, I suspect George suffered from

depression or even Bi-polar disease. At the end

of the Beatles' very first try-out session with George

Martin, Martin said "Well, I don't like your solo voices.

I don't like your hair and I don't like your choice of

music. Do you gentlemen have anything to say?".

There was an awkward pause. Then, Harrison told

Martin: "I don't like your tie".

  • @thegrinchl7 You're so totally full of it. Harrison displayed a sharp sense of wit his whole life! He financed Ponty Python's The Life of Brian, he was a joker his whole life. He snuck funny stuff in there all the time. Look at the Traveling Wilburys. He never suffered from depression or bipolar disorder -- what a crock you cooked up! Bipolar?!?!? Hahahaha! George Martin never said the baloney you posted here either. You should drill a hole in your head and let the sap run out.

  • @Balertwine - Well, to be sure...Harrison was funnier and wittier than YOU. But that's not saying much! George's 2nd wife Olivia said George was seldom "happy" except when gardening. What makes you "happy"? Masturbating?

  • god george is so gorgious and i luv his outfit

  • dude listen to the crowed when he said that its the exact kinda beAtle they expected it to be

  • Oh my god.... i'm so in love with George.. his eyes <3

    so sexy :)

  • @beatleluv89

His abundant, lush wavy hair added to his sex appeal. Harold Sr.

gave him the eyes AND the thick wavy hair!

  • NO FUCKING WAY, YES!

  • Damn. Those pants.

  • god i love him.!

  • George looked gear in that ruffly shirt and striped pants, kudos, DarkHorse!! :)

  • Was that a "puffy shirt" George was sporting?

  • ths is when hippie boys were on their knees for british rock and roll

  • well not all...

  • that is how silly you all sound

  • ouch, now I have a tooth ache

  • kinda like frosted flakes

  • hey, isn't life great!
