Pretty revealing that after 10 years all the frightened workers and greedy corporations are gone, the First Nations hold all the harvesting rights and have brought in outside contractors to log them (at less than stellar standards) and have recently ,2008, signed agreements with mining companies with the longterm potential of open pit mining directly across from Tofino. What a phenomenal political farce. The potential for a new age in resource management has slipped away.
