Contrary to what Arsench1992 said, this IS carlos santana's composition. A jazz cover was made in the mid 70's by Gato Barbieri but this is all carlos. He wrote it for his girl who was stressed out and on drugs. Later, he played it backstage on a tour with Earth, Wind and Fire and they suggested he record it. Carlos also recorded it with Gato when Gato put his touch on it.
