Yup, all types of skin are beautiful. Color shouldn't matter, because it's just a color. More people should get to know people for who they really are. I mean, let's say you have to wear a blind fold for a month and meet someone and you think their personality is extremely attractive to you, and then you take your blind fold off and they have dark skin. Then all of a sudden, they don't matter to you anymore. Now that's ridiculous and I know many people would act that way. We are all humans.

@MrLekamge I couldnt agree with you more. I am South Indian and again about the same color as you or a little darker but I am the darkest in my family, so I always got the brunt of all the jokes. Even when I was in high school my other north Indian friends would comment even if it was jokingly it sticks with you. I am so happy that someone has addressed this issue. It is so prominent in South Asian societies sometimes to the point that people are brutally blatant about their preference of light skins over dark skins. It is so grind-ed in our brains that 'black' references are commonly used as insults, by children and adults alike.
Its high time we get over such trivialities and look at the bigger picture. Diversity is beautiful. After all what would be life- but with only one colour?
You just made my day! I am Sri Lankan and I would consider myself dark skin. This colour issue has been present in our community as long as I can remember. People always commnet how beautiful I am but they always add that or for a dark skin person! I hate that. I dont know why I cant just be Beautiful. I think the only reason someone should buy fairness creams is to get rid of certain scars. I had mild acne, and last year a cheap pharmacy product gave me a rash. My face looked like a pizza afterwards, and trust me the only thing that helped was a whitening lotion and some weird burning orange soap from Asia. So yeah, use them if you have issues like this, but remember,if your skin is healthy, it is beautiful regardless your skin tone! xoxo bitches ;)

My mom has been bleaching her skin for most of my life. She constantly calls me coal face and stuff. I'm a dark skinned Somali. My mom would always compliment how Arab all my sisters looked how Indian my other sister looked. I hate my skin color. In my view, most fairness cream industries target south asians, however my message here is strictly to people just like yourself whose self esteem is going through a rough time because of media portrayals of dark-skinned people not being attractive enough. Based on other comments here, and in general, I know I am far from being the only one who is attracted to very dark-skinned women. People need to appreciate the skin that their in, be it really white or really black.

I grew up in a family that was "color struck". I was the darkest out of all my siblings and used to have a problem with my color. However, I grew up and realized that I am beautiful, regardless.
@MrLekamge I wish more Indians thought more like you. I'm from Kerala so I have a darker skin tone. I've gotten remarks from people (especially family in India) about how I should do things to lighten my skin. I've gotten to the point where I tend to avoid Indians and Indian gatherings. I'm like you in that I find all skin tones beautiful. There are many Indian people that I find very attractive even though they have dark skin. Even though I don't consider you dark, you're attractive!

Then my video truly has been a success!!! I have no problem with light/white skinned people. And I know some people just want to be fair in the same sense that some people want a tan. No prob! But when it comes to people drastically changing things thinking its the only way to attract somebody, then I think its unfortunate. 99.9% of the time I think people were beautiful the way they were before changing their skin color and even hair color! Natural is the most attractive, i think.

I have a Friend who's white and when i was younger wanted to see what their tanning bed was like.. His Mom Stopped me and said. "You may not know this But I'd Die to have your Color".and she said, "Why do you think we tan so much". True story..btw.. I see 318 that's Shreveport?

I think the only reason someone should buy fairness creams is to get rid of certain scars. I had mild acne, and last year a cheap pharmacy product gave me a rash. My face looked like a pizza afterwards, and trust me the only thing that helped was a whitening lotion and some weird burning orange soap from Asia. So yeah, use them if you have issues like this, but remember,if your skin is healthy, it is beautiful regardless your skin tone! xoxo bitches ;)

My mom has been bleaching her skin for most of my life. She constantly calls me coal face and stuff. I'm a dark skinned Somali. My mom would always compliment how Arab all my sisters looked how Indian my other sister looked. I hate my skin color. I can't even look in the mirror anymore without seeing something ugly about myself. Your video made my day though. Thanks. ^^

@sky33211 omg I can so relate..I am black and my mother would call me blackie, monkey and all kind of hurtful stuff that would make me hate being so dark-skinned. I used to rub my skin until hurt so I can rub the blackness off..but after seeing so many beautiful dark black women and how they embrace themselves gave me the confidence to accept my color. Thank you for this video. I dated a South Asian man that felt the same way and was really turned off by the whole light skin craze. This video and his attitudes really make me question the extent to which that preference really exists....I know it exists but I wonder how much of it is perpetuated by these industries that have a vested interest in growing it. In my view, most fairness cream industries target south asians, however my message here is strictly to people just like yourself whose self esteem is going through a rough time because of media portrayals of dark-skinned people not being attractive enough. Based on other comments here, and in general, I know I am far from being the only one who is attracted to very dark-skinned women. People need to appreciate the skin that their in, be it really white or really black.

@TheUndertakerSaysRIP Besides it's logical since not all places on earth are warm like Africa where dark skin is a requrement, things change... during an Ice Age Africa is extremely dry and the Northern hemisphere is cold and not much sunlight, so light skin absorb the sun's energy a lot faster.. it that case light skin is best suited for the environment..

@TheUndertakerSaysRIP Nope, white skin evolve in cold climates and it's a defense mechanism and it has to do with Vitamin D otherwise it results in bone problems, also the gene that makes light skin in Europe is caused on a different gene it has nothing to do with Albino.. learn some genetic before you comment stupid things around ! natural and sexual selection would of never approve of this fact if it wasn't for good causes and survival

I grew up in a family that was "color struck". I was the darkest out of all my siblings and used to have a problem with my color. However, I grew up and realized that I am beautiful, regardless.

@MrLekamge I wish more Indians thought more like you. I'm from Kerala so I have a darker skin tone. I've gotten remarks from people (especially family in India) about how I should do things to lighten my skin. I've gotten to the point where I tend to avoid Indians and Indian gatherings. I'm like you in that I find all skin tones beautiful. There are many Indian people that I find very attractive even though they have dark skin. Even though I don't consider you dark, you're attractive!

one thing people have to realize not all darkskin women feel inferior to light skin women and not all dark skin women hate theirself. i am a dark skin woman and i was given 4% skin bleach by my dermatologist to fade dark acne spots on my face. i dont wear it to make myself lighter i do it for a even skintone. ive learned not to care what people who dont pay my bills think. opinions are like azzholes everyone has one and how they use it is on them. This video restored my faith in South Asian guys. I'm about the same complexion as you, but the majority of the South Asian guys I've ever known make snide remarks about how "dark" and "ugly" most South Asian girls are and how fair-skinned Punjabis look way better. I've heard way too offensive remarks over the years from both South Asian men and women to even associate with them at all.
