Bush, despite his post-alcoholism discipline and alleged ability to read people, was in the end a lousy manager. However, America seemed to enjoy his demagogic rule from 9/11 through at least Nov. 2006. Cheney was something of a self-serving tyrant and was as is now apparent a demigod for those years. America got what it didn't deserve because our system failed and let Bolton, Baker, Olson, and others steal the undeserving and ill-suited Bush into power in 2000. They knew what they were doing!
