  • Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww poor Peco's! <:'( Sad story but neat in telling how come the Wolves howl! :)

  • yo this awsome

  • i love disney horses

  • saddest cartoon of my childhood. damn you and bless you, disney,

  • White panties; how did this get passed Mr. Disney???

  • I remember this cartoon! When I was way younger, 20 years or so ago, Disney would show their old classic cartoons like this always around Valentine's Day...oh memories....

  • im happy disney here in my country still shows this awesome cartoon..im sad because they show it like 3 am or 4 am..

  • THANK YOU! I have been looking for this everywhere :)

  • I like to use a hillbilly accent and pronounce it as "peco'sh bill

  • I read the original tall tale version, and Bill DID lasso her but he was bounced to the moon WITH her! (At least the had each other!)

  • @MrAndrewsaccount92 maybe there's a half-happy ending to us afterall

  • That poor horse just didn't want anyone to come between him and his best friend (in this case, Pecos Bill). I can relate, because my best friend has a very busy job (witch is how we met BTW) and a wife and baby, that's a lot that can come between us but regardless I still love him and wanna be friends.

  • ha ha no one tried to help her out.when she came down

  • i fucking cried at the end

    motherfucking horse!

  • i agree where did this disney go

  • WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO DISNEY?! this is DISNEY!

  • @HOGYOLO r u asking what happened to disney??? well since walt disney died everything changed he was great!!! this is the disney i wanna see on tv!!! who is hanna montana come on!

  • @44lulyable he's not dead, he's frozen beneath Disneyland along with Hitler.

  • Will Eisner. :P

  • I feel sorry for poor Sue and Pecos Bill, his horse was such a meanass

  • Pecos bill's horse was an asshole!

  • That horse is a dick.

  • Poor Sue I did not like the ending!

  • And that is why fashion is NOT worth it. XD

  • Pecos Bill is edited on the film's US video release (but not the UK release) to remove all scenes of Bill smoking a cigarette. The entire scene with Bill rolling the smoke and lighting it with a lightning bolt was cut and all other shots of the offending cigarette hanging from his lips were digitally removed.

  • "I'm from Texas and this was my 1st time getting to know about Pecos Bill and Sluefoot Sue! I'm not a cowboy but, I wonder how many real cowboys know about this tale!"

  • It's too bad noone ever thought to grab her the second she touched the ground:(

  • Hopefully Pecos found a way to get to her and bring her back safely.

  • it's a sad shame when animal gets that jelous

  • omg i love this movie:) melody time was my favourite when i was little:) i alway thought this was sad, sue was kinda a bitch but pecos was awsome XD

  • Thats kinda sad

  • poor girl:( I always thought

  • @beautywolfy lol

  • then again, i kinda didn't like that horse.....o.o;

  • Pecos Bill was one of my all time favorites XD

  • sue is one hell of a women.

  • This is a very pesimistic cartoon...really stupid...how can she land to the moon...i don't know you guys...

but in some way it portrays the goals that the author did not reach...a relationship with a beautiful woman...i think tht is the message of this cartoon...

    it really sucks!

  • @melesio87 have u not heard of suspension of disbelief? That's the goal of a cartoon, to suspend one's belief and do the impossible. That's the beauty of cartoons--doing things that can't be done in real life, and suspending our beliefs upon it. Apparently, you don't get this.

  • First of all...it is based on a character that NEVER existed!!!

  • @melesio87 So. Cartoons make shit up all of the time. That's what's so funny.

  • sue had a phat ass...u could bounce a sue off it

  • 3:11 It's very nice to see a girl "wear the pants" every once in a while. C:

  • i can show this video during social studies; we are studying the southwest.

  • Widowmaker sure is a suitable name for that steed.

  • @pienipaha If this cartoon was a stage on Kingdom Hearts and Widowmaker was the boss of that stage...Oooooooooh the damage I would do that horse, just one moment with a Keyblade, I'll make my own folk song..*Sharpens Axe*

  • aaaw poor bill

  • Awww I luv these kind of stories, like when they say "and that's why......." at the end. It makes me think. And that horse gives me one more reason why I don't like horses. LOL :DD

  • this always made me sad when i was little, i hated that murderous horse lol

  • @Jade10923 Yeah, same. I didn't get the humor of killing her :/

  • I have this film with all the cartoons. but what other films are Sons of the Pioneers from other then this.

  • I laughed so hard when she kept bouncin u and down she hit the ground so damn hard it got me in hysterics! XDD

  • I WAS LOOKING FOR THAT CARTOON FOR 18 YEARS!!!

  • omg this is so funny, i gotta get this one! the girl looks like katrina van tassel from sleepy hollow, and the horse looks like gunpowder!

  • @burtonrules123 that was stora the same thing I thought about Sue's character motal, and Katrina also looked a lot like Cinderella, even the same face like her's.

  • aah classic disney, the best!

  • What an inbreed...

  • cocked block by a horse... Poor Bill :(

  • It is because that was the fashion of women those days. That is how they dressed.

  • is it just me or do a lot of vids on youtube, play half way and then refuse to load the rest

  • yeah it's youtube itself. it's actually been like that for quite awhile. guess it's just to much traffic and youtube being cheap not upgrading to handle all the people.

  • thanks i thought i was the only one.

  • So funny it looks like all the women in that time were drawed like Romy Schneider or something!

  • thank you for the information, ziggyfollies. One thing though, what exactly do you mean by cultural joke? I understand what you mean about how they used it alot in the 1940's; they used it in Springtime for Pluto, Mickey's Birthday Party and a few others I can't think of at the moment. About the first question I asked; what I meant was, why are latina dancers always depicted with wiggling hips when the conga music plays? The way Sue's bustle moved at 4: 48 show what I mean

  • mann, this is disney, real cartoons, now disney channel is shit, hanna montanna, selena gomez is crap!

  • You're fuckin right

  • I couldn't agree with you more, I love the 20's-50's era Disney, I can't believe they don't even have a show for the one who started it all, Mickey Mouse, that isn't for preschoolers!

  • @DakotaMontgomery They had the House of Mouse, but I haven't seen it in the last 3 years, though.

  • @GusTheBus82 well gomez is kinda hot soooo....

  • @GusTheBus82

    hahaha AAAAAAAAMEN!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

  • @GusTheBus82 You got that right buddy.

  • @GusTheBus82 if you go to every single old disney cartoon, you'll find the same comment expressed, but the modern disney isn't paying attention!!!!

  • @GusTheBus82 selena gomez is super hot man

  • @GusTheBus82 sounds like i found someone who agrees with me

  • 3:15 You don't have to be Freud to figure that one out!

  • I am so impressed by how well Sue's walk is. Milt Kahl is definitely the man when it comes to complex and realistic character movements.

  • Speaking of her walk, why is it that most Disney women usually have shifting hips when they walk?

  • Good question...I hadn't thought about it, but perhaps it's because it is an "idealized" vision of women? Since most animators in classic Disney were men, perhaps they exaggerated the movements unconsciously? I'd be curious to know too.

  • that was soo sad

  • poor horsy

  • her butt is shaking at 3:43

  • Too bad they can't have Wally Boag's Pecos Bill as an extra sometime with this movie. I know it's elsewhere, but still it would be nice. Also the gun action reminds me of Panchito Pistoles.

  • Two questions about 3:43-4:48; 1, why is it that when she's walking her bustle is shifting side to side and 2, when Widowmaker was bouncing her her hips were moving like a samba dancers hips when she dances?

  • I dunno what the reasoning was on 1, skinnernick, but I think the animators stuck the Conga in there just as a cultural joke. It was so popular in the 1940s that you frequently see it in Warner Bros. cartoons as well.

  • I have this on 3 78 rpm records in Pecos Bill album bought in 1948--Very, very good. Rogers was the best yodler ever

  • y did she go to the moon i remember this from that disney with love thing

  • THAT WAS STORY IN 3RD GRADE

  • Sue was my hero growing up, I always wanted to be a cowgirl

  • 0:44-8: I can see some panty shots.

  • And Sue was Lovley!

  • @Anination *lovely

  • Hilarious
