When you make an error in judgement and turn incorrectly, does the Garmin 1390 pick it up right away

and direct you to your destination?

@aquafitter Mine usually picks it up within 5 seconds if you turn the wrong direction. Sometimes it takes a bit longer if you have taken the wrong exit on a motorway (because you're often still pretty close to the correct route).

Great video, looks like a nifty device.

Some comparisons to my nuvi 660: the 1390 seems to have a more sensitive touch screen and quicker response. Also, the 660 requires the car charger to attach to the ball mount, which I usually forget at home, making it impossible to charge (my wife doesn't like it when I mount the 660 on the window).

Nice quick mounting in the car, good job, one handed even.

What happens if you go in a tunnel? I was thinking about getting this to replace my Navigon since they dont do the U.S. market anymore and when you go in a tunnel you still move at the same speed as when you went in until you regain your signal.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think only the 8xx series nuvi support voice commands with the steering wheel mounted button and they haven't released anything new in the 8xx line lately.

So I downloaded the City Xplorer for New York and it isn't that impressive. It did not tell me which subway or bus to take to the destination. Same with the Boston version as well. It just says get on the train and get off at a intersection.
