nfsmw or nfsu2. most wanted has the cops whish makes it fun but when steering the car you have this real heavy feeling and no traction control when launching all in all its a good game. if you into serious car racing and street racing nfsu2 is the game for u even though there are no cops u got touge racing highway racing u can even do the dyno for your car. nfsps takes it more serious with track racing but more similar to nfsu2

If you use component cables with your PS2 it will look a little better than using the standard RCA cable, but it will still be SD (standard definition, 480i, 640 x 480 pixels), but it looks nice anyway...

Though I do agree that what brings the PS2 version of this game to an inevitable downfall is its horrible graphics, I still think that no matter what console you play it on, the storyline is beautifully done. Also, I should also voice out my disagreement with GT's review. Again, I do agree that more trafic on the street would be more interesting, but I disagree when they said that the AI (or the cops) are easy. Point blank: They're not.

Unfortunately, no. The game does not let you customize your control configuration, and the preset one is a bit of a mess.
Now for comments on the actual ps2 game:
This game seems have a kind of short career mode, I played career mode for about a week, and played like an hour a night. I am already 50% through career mode and have cars such as the porsche 911 turbo, gallardo, etc.
Also much easier to earn money, $20,000 per race won at this point :)
good god they switched game engine. I remember that crappy engine they used for MW, Carbon and Pro Street on the PS2. It had a reflection update time of 5 years.
*sigh* I bought this game last night, the graphics make it look like almost a simpsons game, just without outlines. I played it for half an hour and got bored. Blackbox could have added more to the ps2 version... even pre-xbox halo looked better than these. Then there is the gameplay, which doesn't have anything new either. This game is not worth buying. I was hoping for an improvement after prostreet, but I guess blackbox has ruined NFS completely. If the next game isn't any better, I'm out.

Well there can be several reasons...
1. Check your TV (Maybe it's demaged...)
2. Check the wiring (Could be demaged especialy if you have dogs/cats or mice)
3. Check your TV's user's guide, you need to know is your TV 50, 60 or 100Mhz (that's VERY important)

ok first of all NFS Most Wanted was the best Carbon ok and ProStreet ok (if you are a NFS FAN) i have this game for my PS and WOW sooo many differences like u start off with Nissan 240sx graphics are sooo much better there is damage on your car and other cars sooo much better for PS3 and 360 i have a ps2 wanted to buy it also for PS2 watched this video thank god i dint buy it this sucks ass!!!!!! over all this game is pretty good i am 80% done of the game soo yeah it looks rlly bad for PS2 lol!!

I really disagree with QuietSavior *Looks below*. Though I do agree that what brings the PS2 version of this game to an inevitable downfall is its horrible graphics, I still think that no matter what console you play it on, the storyline is beautifully done. Also, I should also voice out my disagreement with GT's review. Again, I do agree that more trafic on the street would be more interesting, but I disagree when they said that the AI (or the cops) are easy. Point blank: They're not.

Unfortunately, no. The game does not let you customize your control configuration, and the preset one is a bit of a mess.
Now for comments on the actual ps2 game:
This game seems have a kind of short career mode, I played career mode for about a week, and played like an hour a night. I am already 50% through career mode and have cars such as the porsche 911 turbo, gallardo, etc.
Also much easier to earn money, $20,000 per race won at this point :)

*sigh* I bought this game last night, the graphics make it look like almost a simpsons game, just without outlines. I played it for half an hour and got bored. Blackbox could have added more to the ps2 version... even pre-xbox halo looked better than these. Then there is the gameplay, which doesn't have anything new either. This game is not worth buying. I was hoping for an improvement after prostreet, but I guess blackbox has ruined NFS completely. If the next game isn't any better, I'm out.

And that's because they don't give a shit about the wii and don't know how to use it's new technology. Let's see the PS2 handle a Twilight princess [graphics and hours on end of gameplay too]. Keep in mind mhz is nothing about graphic it depend on the hardware that make the game,the wii is 64bit and the ps2 is 128bit that means the ps2 is 2 times powerful than the wii,and the ps2 fat was the first ps2 that came out in 2004 and the other one came out in 2004 which is the slim black ps2,take a look a bully for the fat ps2 and compare it to the slim silver one are the slim black one.

Lol, no it has to do with the Polygons. Ps2 is 146 million polygons per second while the wii has 500 million polygons per second. I'm pretty sure 500 million is much larger then 146 million [354 million more, if i'm wrong correct me?]. The Wii can display more but no one trys, the wii is more capable then the PS2.
