@Kingpee03 unless you have the EXACT same model laptop those drivers aren't going to do you any good. I couldn't even tell you now which driver I used as I don't own this laptop anymore. If you want to give it a try, read the discription and you will notice I found the driver for my wireless on DOWNLOAD.COM. you need to know the exact model of you wireless card. and cross your fingers..sorry I can't be of more help =\
@ripa6pack I did this about two years ago now so my memory might be fuzzy...but I'm pretty sure I just used the Vista driver for sound that came from the restore CD that came with my computer. even tho it said for vista only it seemed to work just fine for me.
@sonic4life007 depending on what computer you are looking for drivers for. Most of the newer models do not offer drivers for windows XP. Hence all the uproar with this laptop not being XP comparable.
I had problems installing XP on mine to begin with, because after i inserted the XP CD, and booted from it, it would say "Loading drivers" and then it would say "Windows has had an error and had to stop; blah blah blah blah; Check your hard drive for corruption and/or viruses and remove any extra hard drives. " I googled the problem and after awhile i found the solution: Windows XP didn't have a driver to support my HD connector, so i went into BIOS and switched it to Legacy HD mode. it works
@videonut33 But that's the thing. They don't work at all. I know what your talking about, but they do absolutely nothing. It's almost as if someone disabled it.
@videonut33 if it does then thats good for you man. In my opinion I liked vista better than XP anyways. It's jsut the idea that it was running on a 1.5 ghz processor with 1gb ram....it wasnt much of a multitasker, which is alllll i do. BUt hey Toshiba's a great laptop, had this one now for over 4.5 years and still going strong!
@ottakimme all i can tell you is to make sure you google the exact model of the driver your looking for other then that i can t really help you here. sorry
Hey, I have a Toshiba Satellite A135 S2286, and I don't have the SM Bus and the Unknown Devices. I was wondering if you knew where to get them. Thank you very much and nice video.
@ZoMbieKiLlEr102 you can always try to go to toshibas website and download a driver for a different operating system. it might sound strange but sometimes drivers for vista or windows 7 will work in windows xp. i don't know where to get them, but if i were to look i would use google. searching the exact device name and the driver you need for windows xp. sorry i can't be of further help.
@jesterune I'm not going to do your work for you. There is no "link" for a specific laptop. You need to google the specific model of your wireless card sound card and chipset. good luck!
@brnjac007 i didnt download the drivers for sound, for my particular laptop, the vista sound drivers worked with XP, if you go on Toshiba's website im sure you can find the drivers for your sound card, if not for xp, then at least vista or 7, and they should work no problem. sorry i cant help you any further.
@MrDuckBringer what you need to do, is go on another computer, download the chipset driver from intel's webside, and put that file on a CD, then run it on your laptop and it should get your usb ports working
@MrDuckBringer is you wireless working right now? if it is then you dont need to download it from another computer. for me, the wireless never worked untill i got the iltel chipset driver installed. if you wireless is up and running on your laptop, forget the other computer thing haha
@chrisjubes i found the driver for the wireless card on download (dot) com. all i did was type in the name of the card in the seach bar and installed the driver. hope this helps
I had a toshiba that came with windows vista. I have all the drivers except for one and replaced the 160gb hard drive with a 500gb hard drive and have windows xp on it!! It's great that you found drivers and all for it. It took me awhile to find them all.
Hi doorknob, I bought a toshiba satellite with windows 7 yesterday, I wish to install win xp but when I reboot and load the install program the system show a blue screen: "error stop: 0x0000007B ....." and I can't install win xp, nevertheless the system win 7 load normally... please help me, thanks.
if you are correctly booting ur laptop to the Windows install disc. there shouldn't be any problems. unless your install disc is bad. if you downloaded it n burned it to a cd make sure u did that right. if not..make sure theres no scratches..also, just be sure your booting correctly to the cd.
