  • Since I can't find the reply button. I like how I got shit for asking for it in english! not cause i'm racist but because I wanted to show it to my boss and possible purchase it! Geeez! Relax people ~!

  • ¿en englais, por favfuckingor?

  • all those 'great' tool are invented for 3/12 to 6/12 about 10ft high, good luck trying to get one of those machines on a 8/12 and steeper on a building 2 or 3 floors high, dealing with the FAS and two people around it will make the job almost imposible to get it done, all the swing situation and stuff like that . on top of deal with WCB or OSHA depending in what you would be, no thanks

  • Aww man, I'll soon be out of a job!

  • i want to see that thing in action on a 12/12

  • I think A&S Roofing's gonna have to buy that. Where would Tom have to go to buy one of these bad boys?

  • good for older board homes....Doesn`t seem to practical for a one layer plywood that is ripping nice.

  • Wow, I have been in this business for 18 years and it is rare to get me to say that. Wow, great product! How can I get one?

  • 5000$ seriously.... that is kinda retarder though i bet its fast but my boss will never ever buy this at this price.

  • great tool! now what about 3 layers and a 4th layer being old cedar????

  • Thanks. When the shingles are very brittle, you can tear off both layer at the same time, otherwise you can do multiples passes. Regarding the cedar, we didn't try it yet.

  • what if you have 3 layers to remove.

  • Not sure I want one for a high pitch roof, walking backwards and possible bad wood underneath. Looks like it will work great for up to about a 4/12 pitch but some of those northern tier snow load roofs this just isnt gonna do it - too steep. Otherwise it looks like a pretty cool tool, maybe a wider version would work as well.

  • The Shingles Peeler can work up to 6/12 pitch roof. Technically it could do 8/12 or more because it is attached at the top of the roof. But the operator and the guys who pick up the debris have to be able to stand up safely on the roof and beside the machine.

  • Hello,This is a cool tool.Does it work on dimensional shingles also, and will it work on a double layer tear off?And one more Question, how much are they? And where can you get one?Sorry for all the questions, thank you for the post and your time..peace.

  • Also a few contractors asked for a wider version. That could be something possible, but the machine would need more HP and would be heavier. Also we have to think about the people who pick up the debris. The machine tears off a 12 inches strip. So when you do an average roof that has 16 feet from the bottom to the top, it makes a 16 square feet strip. It's half a bundle, 37 lbs. That is a reasonable weight to work with when the container is quite far.

  • You have to be careful for bad wood even if you walk forwards, sideways or backwards. The machine stops immediately when you let go the throttle.

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh MAN! English plz .

That thing is the coolest tear off tool I've ever seen. Send me a link how to get it!!! :)

  • Hi brotherrz,

We are currently working on the video for the English translation.

Send me a email so i can send you back the brochure in English at:

    shingles''at sign''shinglespeeler''dot''net

  • In the previous comment, i had to write ''at sign'' and ''dot'' in my email adress instead of the real sign because for some reasons i was not able to publish my comment.

  • @brotherrz dude don't start with your fuking english please mother fucker!!! this you tube, and is for evry one, not just for the with man!!! make your own then and call it "WHITETUBE" ASS!!!!!

  • @oscar2oo9 Yea whitetube my ass! I asked a legitimate question and got the english version of the equipment cause I wanted it! So don't give me your WHITETUBE shit! Plus my comment was 2 yrs ago! lmao

  • that is awesome i wish the video was in english so i could learn more about it i live in the panhandle of florida im wondering how good it works when the shingles are real hot and stuck to eachother

  • It will work the same. You can see at 4:22 on the video, the shingles will come off more in a strip manner.

  • That is a really great roofing tool! I like how it pulls up the shingles and the nails at the same time and makes clean up easier.

  • hey looks like it works well have a peak at something i did with a zoom boom for taking off cedar shingles look under cedar shingle tear off theres 3 videos on there the one under deertreestand is the best this worked mint

  • wow, that is amazing! do you have to move the cable for each pass?

  • Depending on where you place your anchor, you can do between 4 to 6 passes with one anchor. Usually, you place 7 to 10 anchors at the top to do the roof.

  • We did some two layers and one with two layers plus a 50 lbs paper. You do one pass up for the first layer and a second pass for second layer.

  • just asphalt?? What about cedar shingles??

  • We didn't work with it in cedar yet. That is something we would like to try soon because there is a few contractors who were asking for this.

  • Good work body, nice job

  • post one in english

  • We are currently working on it to put subtitles. Also our english website should be available in a few weeks.

  • how does it work? does it pull the nails too?

  • It's quite easy. You just anchor the cable of the Shingles Peeler at the top of the roof, go at the bottom, insert the forks underneath the second row of the shingles, hit the throttle and let the machine do the job. The operator doesn't have to pull the machine, the machine pulls itself up. It raises the shingles AND the nails at the same time.
